Over all pleased, just one little problem.

Posted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: Pool area
Location: Its right around the corner from Bourbon Street. Maybe 3 minutes.
Everything was nice from the beginning to the end.I fell in love with the set up of the pool on the 4th floor. The only problem I had was a roach was in the shower. I reported to the front desk adn they sent one in to inspect the room to make sure there wasnt anymore. Other than that everything was lovely!!! I will most definitely stay there again!!

Great Hotel In Historic New Orleans

Posted Mar 13, 2014
Pros: Historic feel yet modern comfort and appearance. Great staff. Loved how housekeeping performed. Excellent food.
Cons: Have staff prepared to provide a workable route to get to the hotel during Mardi Grass
Due to Mardi Grass, it was very difficult getting to the hotel. No one could give us a path that was not blocked. We discovered it on our own after riding around for two and a half hours. However, once we arrived, all was well. The staff, the ambiance, the food, the bed made up for the frustration of getting there.

Great security for Mardi Gras

Posted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Consistent service and cleanliness
Cons: More comfortable wristbands?
Location: Fabulous location. Short walks from everywhere for Mardi Gras. French Quarter only a little walk away. There are lots of restaurants and gift shops.
Excellent service! We went on our trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras weekend. My husband and I really appreciated the consistent efforts for security in our hotel. The hotel itself is gorgeous. Our room was sufficient not huge. There was hardly any noise noticeable from other rooms or the hallway. Our housekeeping staff was also very good, fresh towels daily, ice bucket filled, and privacy when the sign was on the door. We also received excellent service at check-in, check-out, and the hotel staff also waved down our cab and put our bags in for us. The experience was very wonderful. It is obvious that the Roosevelt staff wants you to feel safe and at home. Under no circumstances did we feel like "dumb tourists". Everyone was very kind and helpful.

Wonderfully, relaxing stay

From the time we walked in until we checked out, the staff was nothing but helpful and polite. They all greeted us with a smile and gave us helpful tips on navigating the city. (We stayed during Mardi Gras weekend) My husband and I will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town!

We were in town for Mardi Gras weekend. Perfect location. Walking distance to Bourbon St without the noise of Bourbon while you're trying to sleep. Beautiful Hotel. Staff was friendly.

Racist!!!!

Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Clean
Cons: Staff need to be professional at all times to any walk of life.
Location: Everthing!
The staff was horrible. They made me cry! They act like we were trash that couldn't afford anything classy! I rather stay on the streets next time! I was there for my birthday and I want to check on my reservations they act like we didn't have one for that day. The desk clerk gave us a free drink coupon and told us to move out the way. Then when we asked for a manager. She tore the coupon up and said fine. We really felt low. Would never book with them again or third party.

Excellent Staff. Gorgeous Hotel !!!

Posted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: Everything, especially the staff. Courtney in reservations & the front desk took good care of us.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Location: Good location. Bourbon Street and the French Quarter are a few blocks away. Close to nice restaurants, the aquarium and the casino.
Just celebrated my birthday at the Roosevelt. The Hotel is gorgeous, the staff members are excellent. They made us feel so special from the time we checked in until we checked out. The Roosevelt is in a good location, close to everything. Hotel has a great restaurant, great lounges (the Fountaine Lounge has a jazz band), a great spa and a nice swimming pool. I really enjoyed sitting by the pool on Sunday morning, under the cabana, with a nice view of the city. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a memorable stay in New Orleans. We will definitely stay at the Roosevelt again.
