Just close enough, not too far away

Posted Mar 23, 2015
The hotel is very modern, but the touches are classic such as the wood floors and some of the items used for decor. It feels very upscale yet not too "froo froo". It's great walking distance to everything but there are still plenty of things close by. The only thing it could use is an indoor pool and room service that is longer than 11pm. It was 80 plus degrees in March and the ritz Carlton next door teased us with its spa amenities. Other than no pool or spa, wonderful place to stay.

Love the Saint

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: The decor is beautiful and it's within walking distance to Bourbon Street.
Cons: The shower door swings sometimes which causes the floor to get wet after someone showers.
Location: Walking distance to Bourbon Street.
The Saint was a great time! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The decor and menu work together perfectly. The hotel is near Bourbon Street but we had no trouble getting rest when we were finally ready. There was nothing we asked or requested that was not handled by the staff. I would certainly stay at the Saint again.

Great location

Only a few blocks to Bourbon street. It has a very hip vibe. We really enjoyed our stay. We had 2 queen beds that were very comfortable and the room was very big and clean.

Cons: Bed pillows. There are plenty, but need a variety in firmness and softness.
Delightful staff. Wished us a nice day as we left and welcomed us back on our return. Cutting edge decor.

Hotel is very funky and unique. Lighting in the room could have been better as well as the availability of outlets so for practical purposes it would not be the best choice.

Very cool decor, perfect location!

Pros: Ambience, size, past Autograph experiences
Cons: Nothing
Location: Close to French Quarter, Warehouse District, etc, but not smack dab in the middle of the craziness. Super chill vibe
We decided to stay at The Saint when we visited New Orleans based on experiences we had at other Autograph locations. Very clean, trendy decor, accomodating staff, and comfortable room. Highly recommend

Funky decor in a good location.

Pros: -Location -Size of the rooms -Friendly Staff
Cons: -Soundproofing/double glazing of windows
Location: I liked the location--on the VERY edge of the Quarter, but centrally located to easily get to other areas of the city.
I recently stayed 5 nights at The Saint. The room was clean and nicely decorated, and pretty good sized. The lobby area is very chic, with several different areas for cool photo opps. The hallway lights are *VERY* dim--in fact, I think the hallways might be lit with blacklights instead of traditional bulbs. This didn't really bother me, but I could see how some folks might like a brighter hallway for safety purposes. I never visited the bar or the restaurant. All of the staff that I encountered were very helpful and pleasant. My biggest problem with the room was the NOISE. Now, I'm not talking about noise from the other hotel guests. In fact, this was probably one of the best soundproofed rooms I've stayed in when it comes to other guest noise. I'm talking about the noise from the street. This wasn't normal street noise...there was a huge clanging sound every time a car drove down Burgundy Street, and then every night at about 3am, there would be an incessant clanging (I described it as sounding like someone was throwing bricks into a metal truck. This went on for about 15 minutes every night and I could never figure out what it was, but it was VERY loud and managed to disrupt my sleep every night. I imagine that a room on the other side of the hotel wouldn't have this issue.

Unique hotel - great location

The Saint is a charming hotel. It's situated on Canal and two blocks from Bourbon, which made this a great location as you are walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. I can't say enough good things about the hotel staff, they were friendly, courteous and knowledgable. I'd certainly recommend The Saint and would stay there again for my next visits to New Orleans.

Kevin checked us in, and is filled with positive energy and a willingness to help in any way. Great asset to the hotel. Very contemporary decor and their theme seems to be "Play Naughty".... Would not recommend for families with children, unless adults want to explain this saying, which is prominently displayed on rugs and beds. Overall valet service was efficient, although pricey. Housekeeping could use some guidance. I believe when we arrived, our room was not quite ready, as the door stop was holding the door open. We found a dirty, used sock in our room, which made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the room. The billiards table on the ground floor provided fun times whilst raining outside. Hotel is located about 10-15" walk from Jackson Square, French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Cafe Du Monde.
