Great location for Mardi Gras paradesPosted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: Location for parades and away from French Quarter
Cons: Customer service
We were only 1 block from most of the Mardi Gras parades by Gallier Hall, which was awesome. Room was fine and clean. Like previous reviews, I would agree that the hotel staff, especially front desk, was overwhelmed and not very helpful. Valet parking was a joke...they told us we would have to wait to get our car until the parades were over for the day, which would mean we would miss our flight! Finally, one valet walked us to our car, which was a mile away....my wife and I had to carry all of our own luggage, etc., with no assistance from valet.

Great Hotel close to all the actionPosted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: Rooms small but nicely appointed. Good breakfast in hotel diner.
Location: Canal street and French Quarter 2 blocks away (about a 5 minute walk). Harrah's Casino, Mississippi River, Aquarium, an easy 10 minute walk.
Great accomodations, close to all the action but far enough away to be quiet. Wouldn't have wanted to be any closer to the French Quarter during Mardi Gras.

Beautiful great place to stay!Posted Feb 13, 2014
We traveled the whole state of LA over 8 nights and this was by far the most comfortable bed I slept in on our trip! Very friendly staff, easy to walk to the aquarium or the French quarter. The restaurant down stairs was very good! The only bummer thing was that they have to park your car away from the hotel in a designated garage, but they go get it for you so that works!

Great location, unique experience!Posted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: It is beautiful!
Cons: There was a bit of mold in the shower. I hung my towels to conserve but they took them and gave clean ones anyway.
Located slightly further than the bulk of the other hotels in the area, this was a nice escape at the end of the day.

Great hotel with lots of room!Posted Feb 9, 2014
We stayed in the King Suite. The bed was really nice, had a couple of TVs and the fold out sleeper that was actually comfortable. It's close to everything. We walked to the arena to see a Pelican's game and then to Bourbon St. My only complaint, which didn't really bother me was that a couple of lights were burnt and they never brought any bulbs up after asking twice for them.

Excellent StayPosted Jan 31, 2014
Pros: The bed was comfortable . Love the bathtub.
Cons: Not at this time.
I only stayed for one night. My stay was excellent especially the team working the restaurant in the lobby the morning of 1/29. I will definitely stay again and spread the word.
