“Great Place to Stay; Awesome Staff”

The staff was awesome, great location, the french quarter is fine. Forget Katrina and go buy a beignet or a hurricane and support New Orleans!

“Great place”

The W French Quarter is a fantastic place to stay if you want the amenities and style of a newer hotel but the charm of the Quarter. Everything was perfect - the beautiful courtyard area around the pool with wireless internet access is an added bonus, and it's central enough to walk anywhere you want to go in the Quarter but still get a good night's sleep because of it's distance from some of the areas that tend to be rowdier at night.

This hotel is amazing. It's like being in another world separate from New Orleans with the convenience of having all of the fun right outside the door. Incredible service, great food, incredible modern interiors. Wonderful Bliss spa products! I loved it!

What a great hotel! Great, unobtrusive service. Nice pool and beautiful courtyard. Candles in the hallways. The most comfortable bed I have slept on. Spa (Bliss products) goods in the bathrooms. Beautiful slate bathroom. It has a resort feel right in the middle of the French Quarter. Everything is first rate. Housekeeping was superb. Would definitely recommend it and will stay here the next time in New Orleans.

“It was a great place in the French Quarter”

If it's during an event (we were there during the sugar bowl), see if you can request a room facing the courtyard. Of course, the hotel had nothing to do with that, but you might be able to use the tip. The room was great, and the beds were comfortable. We ordered room service once. It was prompt and the food was good.

“Convenient to New Orleans Action”

Location, location, location! We discovered that W New Orleans is central to where the action is: casino, Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, Canal Street, and favorite restaurants. On-site secure parking was a definite plus! Will return, next time around.

good location, great hotel, better than other w's i have stayed in. movie night can be a little loud if you have a room with a balcony, but cant hear indoors much at all. great staff, very helpful, informed, genuinely give a care about making the stay worth it.

“Great Hotel”

The hotel was in a great location in the heart of the French Quarter. It was a short walk to all the action. The hotel is not large but that can't be expected while in the French Quarter with the smaller, older buildings. But the room decor was great, the service fantastic, the bathroom large and recently updated and the bed extra comfortable. At night it was a little noisy since we were on the street but again, you're in the French Quarter, if you want quite go somewhere else. We will definitely return to this hotel.
