Good hotel

We stood with 4 (2 Adults, 2 Kids (12/14)), the rooms are clean and large. However during the night, it was quite loud.

close to relatives

This hotel is located on the Frazer river and has excellent views from the balcony. The room was nice and cool and the sheets were soft. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the rug was really dirty as were the walls.

Pros: Parking. Resturarant
Cons: Carpet was dirty. Wifi didn't work during my stay.
The hotel was just OK. The rooms were comfortable but the carpet was dirty and the internet didn't work. Wasn't my first choice for hotel but there were no rooms available in all of Vancouver during my stay so this was it.

Super nice hotel, great location!

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: Location and the price of both room service menu and the mini service bar.
Location: Market, boardwalk, lots of restaurant choices, local malls, historic Irving House and access to anywhere via the sky train.
Was able to check in 2 hours early. The hotel is 2 minutes from the sky train making it super easy to go anywhere. All rooms face out to the Fraser river for a great view. The balcony for 2 was a wonderful spot to watch the moon rise. The Quay market is right beside and there is a beautiful inviting boardwalk with history- info boards and beautiful gardens to either walk or bike along just steps from the hotel.

Beautiful view of the Fraser River

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: I liked the view.
Cons: I felt the desk staff were chilly. I thought they could have acknowledged us with a friendly greeting once in awhile.
We stayed three nights at Inn on the Quay in New Westminister BC. The view from the Balcony of the River and Boardwalk was stunning. The market and cafes were close by where we could get our morning coffee. It was wonderful to stroll along the boardwalk.

Recommend flexibility in check-in time where rooms

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: Great view! Walking distance to shops/restaurants.
Cons: As above
I arrived 30 minutes prior to stated check-in time of 3:00 PM. The desk clerk informed me my room would be ready between 3:00 and 3:30 pm. As I was very tired and had just come off an early flight with a 3-hour time difference I asked if it wasn't possible to check-in a bit early. The clerk made it happen without any apparent difficulty for which I was grateful. But why the charade before I asked?. If there were rooms ready why would they make anyone wait until the stated time?

Very Pleasing

Pros: View and Location
Coming from Kelowna we were very pleased that the staff were able to accomodate us with an early check in, allowing us time to freshen up before attending a family birthday celebration.
