Excellent location in central NYCPosted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: They do a wine /cocktail hour for residents each night and staff chat to folks in an easy friendly manner. I would have to praise the General manager
Cons: The first room was not as clean as I would have liked and I don't think it had seen a vacuum behind the bed for a wee while.
Location: Park Avenue is a stone throw as is times square. Few block from Macys and great restaurants. Hotel next door has amazing rooftop bar its a must!
Stayed here for a week in July. Really great location but a tad noisy on the lower floors. Our 1st room was large with small bathroom and kitchenette. Our third night in was disturbed by a mishap late at night not anyone's fault. The staff were swift to deal with the issue and immediately moved us to an upgraded room on the 19th floor. If Id known the style of this floor I would have booked it. Well worth the money to be higher up and much more comfortable. I would have to praise the General manager and duty manager for handling our issue professionally. The door men where also lovely and full of useful information about where to go.

Pros: Great location. Beds were comfortable. Liked having the mini kitchen. Decor tasteful. Staff very friendly.
Location: Great location for walking to: Time Square, Broadway shows, Central Park, shopping on 5th Ave or Madison. We walked everywhere.
My daughter and I walked everywhere with ease. It was great to find the ear plugs in the night stand drawer, a very nice touch. The hotel isn't loud, but NYC is! Our beds were very comfortable and the hotel was clean and inviting. We had a car arranged for the airport in under five minutes. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I would stay here again.

Great location for NYC!Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Location to everything.
Cons: Cleanliness of the bathroom.
The staff and free wine hour were incredible!! The bathroom in our room could have used a bit of a more scrub though!! Otherwise everything was great.

New York trip 2014Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: The A/C needs to work better. The breakfast was very expensive for a continental style breakfast.
The pictures of the hotel were not respresentative. The hotel and it's rooms were much much smaller than advertised. Before we even got to our room, another patron warned us that the air conditioning in the rooms were less than adequate. Upon arriving in our room, the A/C was set on 66 degrees and the room temperature read 70 degrees. This was not even close as the rrom felt to be around 78-80 degrees. We called the front desk and they sent up a maintenance man that said the A/C had eben out earlier that day. He then proceeded to make adjustments to the unit by opening the valves that allow more freeon to flow. He also said that adjusting the thermostat woould not make a differance as the A/C system was centrally controlled by the hotel. So sweating after taking a shower or trying to get ready inthe mornings made it miserable for me and my family.

Great Location with east subway access.Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: The second floor lounge was a bonus and complimentary wifi in the lounge and lobby was extremely appreciated. Wine hour was lovely!
Cons: Windows do not keep noise out; elevators SLOW and halls are stifling hot; fans in the bathrooms would be a good upgrade to the facility.
Location: Near Rockefellar Centre, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Top of the Rock; close proximity to Grand Central and Times Square and Central Park.
Front desk and concierge staff excellent, especially a young man named Rome. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed our stay. Although cleanliness was acceptable, housekeeping needs to be more meticulous when preparing rooms for new guests.

Location: Good location for tourists. Easy walk - Close to shopping, sights, shows, etc...
Staff was very helpful. Our room was promised to us at 2pm when calling the day before arriving to confirm our reservation. When we arrived at noon we were delighted to find our room ready as we expected to have to wait around for it. We had 2 queen beds and the room was large for NYC standards. Very comfortable beds! The hotel hosts a wine hour from 5-6pm with complimentary wine. Nice feature. It was pretty crowded. The only 2 drawbacks I found was free Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby and lounge areas. Secondly, the tub area of the bathroom was not very clean. (That is the reason I gave the room cleanliness a 3 above.) The rest of room was fine.
