From the time we arrived, til the time we left, the staff was fantastic about making feel at home, welcome, and comfortable. Would be great to have to some sort of breakfast (continental) provided in the morning. Thanks!

Great hotel & perfect location.Posted Oct 18, 2014
Location: Opposite Maddison Square Garden, 2 min walk to Macy's, 5 min walk to Empire State Building, 20 walk to Time Square & Penn station over the road.
Stayed 4 nights, staff very helpful, perfect location. Room large, hotel facilities great, noise minimal. Complimentary wine between 5/6 was great to help get to know people. Thanks Affina for helping make a perfect holiday.

Top hotel in a top locationPosted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Location/facilities/friemndly staff/breakfast/size of room
Cons: It was noisy but I think all hotels in this area would be. Church bells ringing at 0700 was a bit hard to take after a late night!!!
Location: Shopping, Pitt Station on the doorstep, Madison Square Garden over the road, Macy's around the corner, delis on the doorstep. Chloice. Choice. Choice.
A few people suggested we might be disappointed in our choice of the Affinia Manhattan because of its location. However we thought we chose perfectly. It was a great hotel. Our room was spacious and bright and we loved our location between Times Square and close proximity to Soho and Chelsea. We loved being 'in the middle'. The staff were very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice central locationPosted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: Great security!
Cons: Adjustable room temperature would've been nice, it was very cool and no way to warm up -heat wasn't turned on yet.
Location: Kitty corner to MSG - very cool! Whole Food market just down the street.
Very appealing location in Midtown close to the action but not right on top! Quiet (for NYC).

Great location ... Very helpful staff.Posted Oct 10, 2014
We stayed for 5 nights with two children. The room I had booked was far too small for our needs (my error in reading the description). On voicing my concern the staff went out of their way to find us a room that met our needs. We were delighted with the service and the hotel. We loved the hustle and bustle of New York (but there are ear plugs if you prefer some quiet) and the hotel is in a great location with everything you need close by. Would highly recommend this hotel.

From the moment we walked in and was greeted by AMANDA, We knew we wanted to stay in your hotel. Amanda was so polite, helpful, professional and courteous. She is without a doubt the most charming front desk employee that we have had the pleasure of meeting. With people like Amanda greeting your guest, I know your hotel will get many return guest. Dont be fooled by the chic lobbyPosted Oct 6, 2014
Just checked in to affinia. Despite stating my request for higher floord and away from the noisy Road, I was still given a standard room on 3rd floor (lowest floor), and was very very noisy. .horns from the cars, loud engine noise from trucks, bells from the church. ...also the toilet is pathetically small, dun even have side table to put my toiletries. .. Also, when it is raining, I can hear the spattering of rain water on the air con condenser even though I was wearing an eye plug. Location is superb, but I regretted staying here for the price of about USD $350/night.
