Pros: The staff member that I checked in with was very kind and waived my slightly early check-in fee. The doormen were very kind and helpful as well.
Cons: More vaccumming, please. I noticed dust and dust bunnies all over the edges of the carpet. Even fully closed, the window leaked noise from the outside
Location: Right across the street from Madison Square Garden!
Stayed one night here. The bathroom was much smaller than expected; you can only open the door about halfway and then it hits the toilet. The bed was nice and very comfortable, the closet was ample.

Very good. The only problem we had was the carpet was wet in a spot because the sprinkler system went off earlier. They offered us a new room and we declined but they came the next morning and cleaned the carpet.

Pros: Location
Cons: My room did not look anything like it did online!
Location: Times Square within 15 minutes of walking. Lots of restaurants nearby.
It all went well. I guess the sound of all the sirens and honking would have been from any hotel in that area. Realy appreciated the ear plugs. Staff very friendly. Good location to Times Square. Not too close. Not too far away.

Hotel close to Penn Station N.Y.

Elevators are horrible; you can wait all day for them. Rooms, though clean, need major updating- paint, etc.

Central location.

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: We would walk out in the morning right into the thick of it.
Location: Central to what we wanted to see by foot or metro. Walked past Times Square to Central Park and even down to ground zero along the fabulous high line.
This was exactly the experience we wanted with our first visit to New York. Authentic style rooms - recently renovated. Very helpful staff and good location ensured we had a fabulous time.

Fantastic hotel, in a very convenient location

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Spacious rooms, excellent staff, great location, supermarkets nearby.
Cons: Better soundproofing around the windows to block out the fire station next door; A ramp (or lift access) for those with bags and strollers.
Location: Lots of restaurants (some real gems tucked away), close to Penn station, Herald Square, Macy's and other shops.
This is a fantastic hotel, right across the road from Madison Square Garden. It is very close to supermarkets, Bryant Park and Herald Square, and is in a great spot to explore Manhattan (even on foot). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and really responsive to all of our requests. Our 1br suite was large enough for our 2 young kids to play in, and being so close to the Whole Foods Market (a few blocks away) meant that we could get fresh food daily, as well as baby products next door. The fact that there is no ramp makes stroller access hard at the hotel, and the lift seemed to be not functioning also. The only real negative about this hotel is the street noise that enters the room. There is a fire station right next door and they do frequently exit with sirens on (yes, multiple times through the night), but the hotel does provide earplugs. We had to play sounds on our phones to try to drown some of the noise out. Overall, we were very pleased and enjoyed our stay!

Great location and very comfortable.

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Incredibly comfortable and well located.
Cons: The bathroom size.
A great location on 7th and 31st opposite Madison Square Gardens and Penn Street Station. Near enough to Times Square and attractions, but far enough away to maintain some level of peace! Very comfortable and a very stylish reception. The room was a really good size and extremely comfortable but let down by a very small bathroom.

Close to Penn Station, Madison Square Gardens

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathroom Doors
Location: Madison Square Gardens, Time Square (theatre district) and Penn Station - easy subway ride to Newark Airport (except train not working at Newark)
Only one night stay. Rooms are old but clean enough. Bathroom door was a sliding door that was so heavy I could barley open and close it. Otherwise clean hotel but old rooms. Lobby is newer. A/C was not working in lobby when I was there.

Nice hotel - Nice staff - Nice location

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Staff, location and the room
Cons: Everything was great with the hotel just the shower could have been a little bigger. I hit the wall couple of times while bathing :-(
Location: Very close to Penn station and walk-away from Times Sq,
It was just great... I would definitely recommend this hotel
