Not a good option if you plan to visit New York.

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: There is a Dunkin Donuts next door where you can get a decent breakfast.
Cons: Really?
Location: Nothing is good about the location other than it was near La Guardia.
We arrived and the hotel manger, who was always at the desk, received us. Not the welcoming that I normally get from the chain hotels. Basically, here is your key, go away. I think he was not happy about our Expedia booking. First we noticed was the air conditioning unit was extremely small. The room could hardly stay cool..... but then it got worse. The room and bathroom were clean but there was a musty smell. It turns out, the bathroom is not ventilated so when we took a shower the humidity had no place to go. The rooms becomes humid, hot and smelly. The hotel is close to La Guardia airport but too far away from new York for visiting the city. We spent too much time riding the subway to get in and out of the city. But that is our fault for selecting to stay there. TV access was OK. but you can not order movies without leaving a $20.00 cash deposit first... for each time you want to view a movie.

Pros: location to airport and free shuttle
We were only there from late afternoon to 5:30 am. The staff was vas very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. We received a wake up call on time, the shuttle was there for us and got us to the airport on time. Overall, very pleased.

Overpriced...with no breakfast.

Posted Jun 15, 2014
LaGuardia cancelled a lot of flights and at 9PM, mine was rescheduled for the next evening so there were no other options. I booked through Expedia but did not find out until I got there that the room was a smoking room. Other hotels in the area were a lot cheaper but like I said, I had no choice. It was this place or the floor in the airport. Only stay if you have to otherwise find shelter somewhere else.

Does not serve continental breakfast

Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: The rooms were ok
Cons: They could at least have a coffee bar.
Location: The location was ok. But there is nothing near except dunkin donuts.
With the room rates they are charging, coffee and donuts could be served. We have stayed at hotels with cheaper rates and they served a full breakfast.

Pros: The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was well prepared.
Cons: Maybe more complimentary things, such as toothpaste.
Location: N/A
Easy and relaxing. Wi-fi kept cutting out. Creepy guests were very weird to me, freaked me out.

Flight cancelled, needed a place to stay

Pros: Proximity to airport, shuttle, lots of pillows, nice reception clerk. Good AC. Clean.
Cons: Noise. Mattress needs replacing.
Location: Had dinner at Joey's Italian restaurant down the block. Great Pasta a la Vodka there!
Nice to have shuttle to airport in the am. Wanted something below $200 and this was as close as I could get. In any other city I would have considered it a rip-off, with really only the most basic amenities available, but in NYC it's what you get for $224 (with taxes and fees).

questionable hotel

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: clean it up or shut it down
The reason we selected the hotel was becasue it was close to airport. THe area and hotel seemed a little seedy, it didnt seem to be kept up and they front desk staff seemed a little rude. even unwilling to provide towels after the cleaning crew had gone for the day. we had a 2 bed,1 pull out sofa so obvioulsy this required more than the standard 3 towels they provided

Ok hotel close to airport

The room was very nice. Clean and spacious. Walls were paper thin or else the other patrons were very loud during night time hours. Kids hung out in the parking lot at night and were noisey. Staff was very nice. Not many dining options close by. Perfect if you have flight out of Laguardia.

Basic hotel close to Laguardia.

Pros: Location Cleanliness seemed fine. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Strict enforcement of non smoking policy. Put a battery in the TV remote.
Location: Location near airport and rental car agencies good. One good restaurant for dinner.
Located in a basically crummy area and smelling of cigarette smoke the hotel is probably overpriced. It has no amenities but is a short walk from a good Italian restaurant and morning coffee can be obtained at a close by Dunkin Donuts. The TV remote control was not working. Changing the temperature control was difficult. They were accommodating enough to pick me up at Enterprise and there is regular transportation to and from the airport. All in all I would not choose to stay there again.
