Great location in Brooklyn

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Great hotel location. Unfortunately, the staff misdirected me on the parking situation. They told me that I could park my car myself at the garage down the street to save some money, or I could pay for the valet to park it in the same garage. I decided to try to save some money and park it myself, however, when I arrived at the garage, the attendant told me that cars could be parked in the garage only by valets. I had to return to the hotel and pay for the valet to park the car. It wasn't so much about the money, but the fact that the staff provided incorrect information.

Just a quick ivernight

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: Staff, room, cleanliness, cool lobby.
Cons: Valet parking was a little confusing, but may have partly been caused be construction project clogging street.
Location: Quick subway ride into Greenwich Village and St. marks place. Easy walk to Cobble Hill for breakfast.
Just a quick overnight stay on a Spring Saturday. Easy check in with very personable front desk employees. Clean comfortable room. Everything we needed.

DIY hotel!

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Smallest room ever! Bring your own towels. Get ready go be your own valet. Room service stinks! The lobby "snack bar" doesn't cut it. Staff at the front desk are so unprofessional. A guest who had just checked came down from his "assigned" room to complain that he walked in on a couple! And if you come with a pet upon checkout you're made to feel like you've done something wrong as they must check the room before you're allowed to settle the bill. Linens are not changed throughout your stay in keeping with the Earth sustainability policy. Oh and your SPG rewards points cannot be given if you book through a third party. Never again!

Hotel pratique au centre de Brooklyn

Posted Apr 19, 2015

Great location and nice hotel

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Great location and easy to get to.
Cons: Hotel staff and room accommodation.
Location: Shopping and walking distances to many Brooklyn attractions such as the Brooklyn Bridge.
The hotel is located in a very convenient location, very close to different routes of subways and shops. There are however lots of constructions around and can be a bit noisy at night depending on which side of the hotel your rooms is in. The staff are okay but not very friendly. Street parking are very difficult so driving a car should be avoid. I have stayed other Aloft before and this isn't one of the best. It's an average Aloft but you are in New York, you can't ask for too much stuff.

Loved it!

Pros: Small, clean and updated.
Met every expectation for our visit to Brooklyn. I would definitely go back and recommended it to a friend who needs to put up clients for business.

Quick stay

We stayed at this hotel for one noght before moving to Manhattan. The room was nice and they utilized the lack of space nicely. I was glad, though, that we were only there for a night. It was a little small but expected because it's New York. The staff were friendly and nice. The room was clean. I'd definitely stay there again for a short time.

I was visiting the area with my husband and children. It is a great hotel for families as it is nice and quiet. If you are looking for a place with night life this might be too quiet for you. If you want to sleep at night it's perfect. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a 5 minute walk to the Metro Tech Station where you can catch the blue, orange and yellow trains. It is also 5 minutes to the Hoyt Station where you can catch the 2 and 3 red trains. Near the Metro Tech area and along Adams Street you will find some places to eat. Grocery store on Flatbush.

Was pretty impressed.

Needed a spot in Brooklyn to stay for two nights. For the price I paid the hotel was perfect. Location was great. Food and amazing bars were a short walk away. Check out Livingston Manor for amazing drinks Btw. Literally 2 minute walk away. Was also impressed with how close the subway was. Neighborhood isn't bad either. Went out drinking till 3am and walked back with no worries. Police presence was great in the area.
