The sound insulation of the room wall is not good. Bathroom and facilities are awesome!

Cool, comfortable hotel

Comfortable modern room. Lobby well designed--trendy and practical. Good to hang out and relax. Staff friendly and helpful. Felt like I was in Denmark or Sweden.

Disappointed.

Posted Apr 20, 2014
The vibe as we walked in was comical to say the least. The music and ambiance was absurd. The walls were paper thin -our neighbors seemed to be having a party from the time we went to bed to about 5:30 in the morning. It was absolutely ridiculous. When we tried to harmlessly make them aware that they had neighbors, they replied by pounding on our door and yelling even louder than before. While our experience was far from satisfactory, we will say the the little balcony was a pleasant touch. And our room was clean. That that is all.

Great hotel for a short stay, close to a great discount shopping area and metro stations. Colorful and modern stile.

Boutique hotel in middle of Brooklyn

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Bigger lobby
Location: Middle of downtown Brooklyn - convenient to everything
Staff was always helpful and cheery. Room was an amazing excellent use of space and bed was great. The location suited us by providing a base for a memory trip back to Brooklyn.

Convenient place to stay while in New York

Posted Apr 15, 2014
My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend. It was our first visit to New York, and I would recommend it to anyone. We valet our car in a near by lot (Vic's parking) it was $55 dollars every 24 hours because we had an SUV (jeep patriot). Staff at the front desk allowed us to check in early, they gave us a map that we used all weekend for the subways and attractions. This hotel is walking distance to the Brooklyn bridge which is amazing to walk beautiful view and if you're short on time you can rent bikes to bike over the bridge. Hotel is close to subway station so it was easy to get to and the subway ran all night. we took the train home from the Yankee game in the Bronx at 12:30 am and it took us about a half hour to get back to Brooklyn. All in all great trip - comfy beds, cool glassed in shower and great morning coffee! Definitely will return :) Thanks!
