“Wonderful Hotel”

I was here on business and stayed for a week. The hotel staff was great, friendly, and the maid cleaned daily. The location was a pleasent asian area, with easy assess to every location. I will stay at the hotel everytime I am in the area on business.

I was very happy with this motel. The room was beautiful,the furniature was very attractive,I enjoyed the whirlpool bath. Was in a nice safe neighborhood,walking distance to resturants,stores andthe train station.It was a short train ride on the immaculate LIRR to NYC. Hotel allowed us to leave car in the parking garage after check out while we went into the city for the day.Staff was very friendly. I highly recomend the Achnchor in.

This place was great. very close to the train to get to Manhattan. Staff was courteous and helpful. Will be back!

“It is pretty good, for the money”

For the price, I thought it was pretty good. Can't expect a cheap hotel down in that area of NY. The room was clean, staff was helpful, and the parking lot had plenty of space. Easy access to the freeway, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Overall, good location for a hotel. I will be going back soon.

“It was ok”

the only things I did not like were the bed was too hard and being on the street side it was very noisey from the traffic.

“confortable and pratical”

Not the cleanest hotel and not much services, but still a good place to stay. The prices are competitive and the location is great (5 min of walk from bayside train station then 20-25 mins to downtown manhattan). I had a deluxe king room the bed was really comfortable, I also had a tub (not he newest but it worked!!), and a big flatscreen tv. Easy to find, the neighbours is not to noisy and offer a lot of services. Don't count too much on the breakfast, prepare a B plan!

The hotel is centrally located, the room was clean and I had a great stay. Keep it up.

“Decent rooms for a decent price”

The hotel wasnt all too bad it was the cheapest i could find in bayside. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were pretty nice. The only thing i saw was that the never cleaned the coffee pot, so if u are a coffe drinker then it might be a problem. But in all it was a pretty good hotel.

Older hotel but based on the price it was very comfortable and clean.

“Far but cheap”

The hotel was pretty good, the only problem was the location... about 1 hour away from Manhattan. It could have been quicker to get to the city if we caught the express train but it was pretty expensive so in order to get to the subway we had to catch a bus... much cheaper though $2.25 Vs $18. The people were nice, hotel was cheap, safe and clean. Breakfast could have been better (they ran out of food pretty quickly and it was all prepacked/frozen food) but it was ok i guess for the price of the hotel. The area looked pretty safe and we had no dramas with feeling safe last at night. Would recommend it to anyone with a car or who doesn't mind travelling that far to Manhattan everyday.
