“Value + Location”
On the site of a former gas station which was located there because of all the traffic going to the East River Drive the hotel is new, modern and well kept. The location is surprisingly convenient. To maximize space there is no lamp on one side of the bed. However this was a small inconvenience. The lobby bar was very convenient in the morning. The upstairs lounge/restaurant had good food at a reasonable price and a great view.
“good”
all around good spot
“Would stay again”
After arriving on a red-eye they let me check in early, much appreciated. Friendly staff, clean and noise level not bad considering location. A little far from sub if that's your thing. Overall happy with my stay.
“upper eastside hotel”
One the plus side, the hotel was very conveniently located for my business purposes and the room was rather spacious by New York standards. On the minus side, I never received the 6:30 wake up call I requested, the beds were not particularly comfortable and the towels were thin and rough. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, so I can't complain too much.
“Very comfortable, friendly stay in NYC”
We had a delux suite which has an extra room with sofa/bed, TV and large desk/dreser. This arrangement avoids the usual cramped NYC hotel experience. Very comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly. Bell captain was absoultely wonderful about arranging car service to nearby hospitals, including short runs. We'll be back!
“Noisy Room”
Only complaint was extreme noise @ 8:30am till 11am, doors banging, vacumming, cleaning people talking which makes it rough when you don't get in till after 5am in the morn.
“Great place for a reasonable cost in NYC near Central Park and MSKCC”
The hotel is a modern style boutique type hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cost was great for the area of NYC. Easy walk to reasonable resturants. Staff povided good suggestions for meals and menus. Hotel bar had a great view but high prices.
“Nice experience”
After reading some of the negative reviews (after the room was booked) I was pleasantly surprised to walk into this very stylish hotel. It was very clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accomodating. There was no problem with the temperature of the room; the shower was great; the noise level was manageable (remember it is NYC) and I was very happy. The hotel is within walking distance to the hospitals so if you have a family member at the hospital it is a great place to stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
“Worst hotel for the money in New York City”
The accommodations were very poor for the price of the hotel. Thwre were not enough towels, one bar of soap, no shower cap. I would never stay here again.
“Some plus, some minus”
Hotel accomodations were good. Only real problem was the noise level. Being right next to the 59th St. bridge meant constant road traffic all day and night. The Air Conditioner was so intermittent and loud that it drowned out the traffic noise when on. Otherwise, facility was decent for the money.

Upper East Side, New York, United States of America: Of all the superlatives used to describe the Upper East Side, one word is apt: richest. Both a physical and art-world behemoth, the Met is home to several masterworks, from an intact ancient Nubian temple to post-modern color studies.
