Nice hotel on the Upper East side

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Staff was accommodating and provided great customer service during our week long stay. Good, quiet neighbourhood.
Cons: The air con was a bit loud. Internet should be free.
Location: Great location unless you want to spend your entire time on broadway that is. Subway and buses not far. Roosevelt Island tram. 59th St Bridge.
The Bentley Hotel is a nice boutique hotel. Our room and bedding were very good; nice toiletries were delivered regularly; the clean rooms were made daily. The small bar and patio were cute. There were quite a few dining options in the area to accommodate every purse and palate. Particularly if you snap up the room on a discount this hotel is great value compared to some of its cousins closer to "the action". But we wanted some distance between us and the craziness of Broadway/Time Square and the Bentley provided a us with an oasis in the concrete jungle.

Charge for wifi

Posted May 25, 2015
In a 4 star hotel charging for wifi even in the lobby is not acceptable. Basic room but bed was very comfortable and room extremely clean. Would have liked a kettle in the room. Most staff helpful.

Trevligt hotell 10 min från tunnelbanan

Posted May 25, 2015
Många restauranger i närheten

Nice, midtown- east- located-hotel in NYC

Posted May 22, 2015
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Facilities in general
Location: NYC, midtown east, is an excellent location for access to all that the city offers and from all airports and transportation hubs.
Have stayed many times in the past and expect to stay in the Bentley Hotel if things improve. It's nicely located and, in general, clean and comfortable. But it needs constant attention on its facilities. The sink in the bathroom at our room was badly cracked (which I immediately reported to the front desk). The walls and carpet are showing their age.

Bra hotel i lugnt område

Posted May 14, 2015

Prima, voor even.

Posted May 9, 2015

Comfortable and clean, but bring your ear plugs.

Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, friendly staff.
Cons: Upgrade air conditioning so that it was less noisy. Sound-proof the windows.
Location: Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Close to the Cornell and Rockefeller University. It's a good 20 minute walk from Central Park.
Comfortable, clean hotel. Unfortunately, there's a reasonable amount of traffic noise (hard to get away from in NY I guess) and the air conditioner in the room was also very loud (probably too hard to sleep with for most people). The hotel is not the easiest to get to as it is about a 15-20 minutes from the nearest subway stop - but it is ideally located if you're visiting Rockefeller University or Weill Cornell or the other medical centres in the area. The only real negative aspect of the experience was the town car arranged to get me back to the airport - the driver could only take cash or require a 20% credit card surcharge ($72+tip). Luckily I asked at the start of the ride - so I got out and walked to the subway ($7.75).
