Great hotel and wonderful location

Posted Feb 24, 2015
This was my second time staying here and it's been wonderful each time. Front Desk service was delightful! Jeffrey was great to talk to and offered many fantastic recommendations. The only thing was our heat didn't seem to work in the room. But, there were extra blankets so we just used that. Awesome heated floors in the bathrooms.

staff was excellent

Posted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: BReakfast was very good beyond any I have experienced
Cons: better gym additions like weights/barbells or a machine with a multi-station. Computer connection was weak and keep dropping my laptop and the PC's.
Location: I did not like the location. although the subway was one block away.
a bit smelly when they cleaned the carpets outside my room. But when my heater stopped working they re-located me immediately and I was fine.

Very warm and comfy beds!

Posted Feb 22, 2015
My family and I went for 4 days in Nyc for a 50th birthday. It was a mad crazy weekend fitting in all the sights, a show, china town, empire state, rockafella, ground zero, central park, coney island, museum of art and shopping. We fell into bed at night exhausted. Hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast nice lovely waffles. I always reccommend best western. Hope to be back one day.

Prettig hotel, personeel erg vriendelijk .

Posted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: Goede locatie, zeer vriendelijk personeel, ruime nette kamers. Gratis Wifi en gratis kluisje op de kamer is heel prettig.
Location: Gezellig locatie doordat het direct tegen China Town aan ligt. Leuke winkels in Little Italy vooral aan Broadway str.

In the Heart of Chinatown and Little Italy

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Better equipment in workout room. Better towels, Non goose down pillows.
Location: restaurants, bars and nightlife, straight up the Bowery.
The entrance is on Grand Street, not the Bowery. Loved the location, for me, it was centrally located to all my favorite restaurants, both Chinese and Italian. The hotel is clean. Some furnishings a bit worn. The staff, efficient and busy. Jeffrey was great at check in and check out. Clean and comfortable, just a couple knit picky things... The soap dish, the paint was chipping off, made it look dirty or unclean/unsanitary. The heater/cooler, was a bit loud for the average person, not for me, I grew up in NYC. Feathered pillows, in this day and age, I think all hotels should go to hyper-allergenic, non goose downs. The towels should be heavier and "thirstier". Overall, it was a good, non frills stay. The workout room consisted of only, 1 step master, 1 bicycle, 1 treadmill. I would recommend to those who's want and needs, not extend beyond the aforementioned.

Better than expected

The king bed room was large and had a renovated washroom that was small but nice. There is a dining table a kitchenette area and the room has two televisions which is a little excessive.

Okay hotel

Posted Feb 7, 2015
Pros: The location is convenient, good access to metro
Cons: curtains and carpets on the worn and dirty side, terrible coffee
Location: lots of restaurants and bars, watch out for the overpriced Italian tourist traps
This hotel is just that: Okay. Nothing terrible, nothing special
