Quaint hotel in an ideal location

Posted Nov 4, 2014
The Best Western Convention Center is lovely. It can feel a little isolated, but if you have an event at the Javits Center, you couldn't be in a better location. It's also within about a 10 minute walk to the 42nd Street Port Authority Subway Station. The staff was made up of some of the best people I've ever encountered in New York. Everyone I met was friendly and accommodated my needs.

Convenient Hotel

Posted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: Ok location. Breakfast included which was very convenient
Location: 10 minute walk to Times Square, 10 minutes in other direction to USS Intrepid. Near to Port Authority bus station so convenient for transport links
Convenient hotel, 10 minute walk from Times Square, close to USS Intrepid. Not luxurious, but perfectly acceptable. Staff were very helpful, we had a problem with the room which was dealt with efficiently and we were given an upgrade at no extra cost. Would recommend to friends.

Location: Close to Javits center
Small room for the price. The hotel is situated next to the train. Disappointed for the price.

Comfortable

If you're out and about and need a place to sleep in, this hotel is for you. Comfortable and clean. I like the breakfast. A bit of a walk from the subway. You also hear the noise from the train and the garage across the street.

Don't stay here. Was in town for a Javits Center show and it was a terrible experience. Dirty and unprofessional.

Great location but small rooms

We booked a stay here for an event at the javitt center, you can't beat the location and parking is right next door. The room was extremely small, I think my wife's closet is larger but hey you only have to sleep in it. If you are spending any amount of time in the room, don't stay here, you will be claustrophobic.

All staff were excellent! Breakfast 3 out of 5, coffee good; location within easy walking distance of Circle Line Cruises and Intrepid. Hotel has only one elevator. Shampoo supplied but no conditioner. Tiny room - one side of king bed against the wall; taxi service-garage directly across the street made it very noisy at night; horse livery stable within 100 feet - strong odors. 4-5 people living and sleeping on the sidewalk in same block as hotel.
