It was decent for a overnight stay before traveling overseas from JFK. The staff was friendly, but their breakfast area needs to be updated. Also, they need a true coffees maker.

big disappointment...don't stay here!

Posted May 20, 2015
The hotel was dirty. The room smelled of mold. The floors looked like they haven't been cleaned in days. The towels were so worn and threadbare...something you would use to dry your dog with. Awful place.

Worst experience

Posted May 19, 2015
My fiance and stayed in this hotel over the weekend, the whole experience was horrible. I booked my room at a rate over 150 a day from Friday night the 15th to Monday the 18th. We ended up leaving on Sunday the 17th, on day before. The draws were broken And the safe was not working either. The towels were very cheap for a 3.5 star hotel. We were c ery disappointed! It looked pretty decent online!

voor 1 overnachting voor je vlucht prima

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: Ligging vlakbij JFK
Cons: Ontbijt.
Je kunt je koffers laten staan in het hotel als je nog even NY in wilt. Hotelshuttle, airtrain en metro (heel dik uur bij elkaar) naar hartje Manhatten. Ontbijt is heel mager. Koffie, ei, jam, sinaasappelsap (of wat daar nar smaakt).

Poor customer service and very noisy room

Posted May 2, 2015
Pros: close to the airoport
Cons: noise proof needed, and better customer service,
The hotel is too close to a dump yard where all dump truck operate 24/7 if your looking for a quite time after a long day of meetings and work this is not the place to be or at least ask for a room that it is not faced the main street. I have asked for a good place to eat somewhere to drive to or take a cab/Uber they handed me some TOGO menus for some local fast food places witch is I have order from the first night unfortunately I had to throw the food in the Garbage, it was bad!!

Confusing to have 2 Jamaica Best Westerns

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Very modern and clean. Free parking. Excellent reception staff.
Cons: The directions and explanation that there are 2 Best Western Hotels in the Jamaica area. A fridge in the room would also have been nice.
Location: Airport stopover hotel.
We went to the wrong Jamaica Best Western after a long drive so it was very tiring to have to get back in the car and drive in heavy traffic to the right one.

Booked once via Expedia, charged twice!!!

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: Clean. Safe. Comfortable. Free breakfast and free airport shuttle.
Cons: Parking.
The hotel itself was comfortable with spacious room, and for being an "airport" hotel, it was quiet. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. PARKING is VERY limited and is first come first served(somehow I didn't see that in the hotel descriptions). Note, they allow guests to leave their cars while they are away (when they fly out of JFK, attributing to their limited parking). Having said that, we arrived at 5:30pm and after doing several laps through the parking lot and around the block someone left and I was able to get their spot. Although we hadn't had dinner, we opted to keep the car in its spot so not to risk coming back to find no parking! We ordered in from a local breakfast spot (the front desk has some flyer menus). Breakfast was plentiful and the wonderful woman who was taking care of it was very helpful. the shuttle to the airport (which is free) runs every hour on the 1/2 hour. I recommend reserving your Sears by telling the front desk when you will need to be on and how many in your party. Overall a good stay. Safe, clean and comfortable beds!!! The only issue I had besides parking was that the hotel took my credit card "for incidentals" when we checked in. As I had booked and paid through Expedia.com I thought I was all set. A few days later I found a charge for the hotel room! I called the hotel who admitted to making the mistake and they said it would be corrected. If this has been helpful, please click "helpful

Fast and convenient

I like my stay because it made my overall trip cheaper! Instead of leaving from Boston I save $1600 for my family on vacation week!
