Great family hotel, apartments are spaciousPosted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: For the price it is amazing value compared to hotels with just one room for 4 people & breakfast is included too.
Cons: Only downside if I had to find one was the bedrooms were too hot so we had to keep playing with the radiators to get it right.
Location: Location was great, straight up 49th to Rockerfellers, right into Lexington Avenue to Central Park & left along Lexington to 42nd & Grand Central St.
Having looked at previous positive reviews when choosing this hotel we were not disappointed. There is a small reception area with v friendly staff and a breakfast room with computers & fast internet service/printer. There is coffee/ tea available all day. The breakfast is self serve with a wide choice, it can get busy between 8 & 9 but we always managed to get a table for four. There are 10 floors & the apartment was a great size, its not amazingly new & contemporary, however its very comfortable, clean & has everything you need. Two good sized bedrooms both with tvs. There is road noise, however any hotel in central Manhatten will have this. For more than two visiting New York I highly recommend staying here.

Conveniently placed in mid Manhatten for sight seePosted Feb 13, 2014
Conveniently situated for sight seeing, not far from Grand Central station where you can access airport bus transport. We had a 2 bed roomed apartment, very spacious, clean, tidy and warm( as we visited in February- lots of snow). The buffet style breakfast offered a good start to the day

Great apartment style stayPosted Jan 21, 2014
Pros: Location is ideal Large space for the price Great to have a separate bedroom Kitchen is also nice to have
Cons: Radiators have a mind of their own and have noisy valves There is a lot of street noise so maybe improved glazing
Location: Plenty of sights and restaurants Quieter than some parts of the city
Large rooms with great facilities. We reserved a queen size apartment but were given the king size at no extra charge. The bed was enormous. We requested a cot for our 20 month daughter and it was there when we arrived. She slept in the lounge with no problems. The apartment was cleaned regularly while we were out.

Amazing apartments in a perfect location!Posted Jan 17, 2014
Pros: Everything and the fact it is not overly huge.
just arrived home after an amazing 6 nights in New York with my 3 children ages 14,8 and 7. I did a lot of research into accommodation before going and the Best Western was exactly as I expected it to be-thoroughly excellent. I had a 1 bedroom apt which was extremely spacious even with the sofa bed up. Lots of storage space and unlike a normal hotel room you are never on top of each other. Free wifi which was great for the children with their iPads and really handy if I needed to do some last minute location finding. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and that goes for the New Yorkers in general-UK is so far behind USA when it comes to manners and helpfulness. The breakfast was great and kept us going til past lunchtime. The hotel location is second to none. There is a subway just around the corner which is so simple, cheap and safe to use If I can do it with 3 children anyone can! rockefeller center is on the same street about a 10 minute walk. We walked back from Central Park in 20 mins, Broadway and Times Sqaure is about a 20 min walk away. When I return to New York hopefully sometime hopefully soon I am Definately going to book here again and would highly recommend this Hotel/Apt to anyone and everyone!! Thankyou for making our stay even more amazing than it was!

Pros: The size and convenient location to almost everything. Daily servicing. Kitchen if you needed it. Staff very friendly.
Cons: The noise was bad. We backed onto the unloading area of the Marriott. Often there were trucks unloading 2-4 hours every night after midnight.
Location: Great restaurants within short walk. Inexpensive taxi to other areas. Short walk to 5th Ave, Madison Ave, Rockerfeller Centre etc. Couldn't be better.
Very spacious comfortable two bedroom apartment. Good kitchen, good sized bathroom and efficient heating. The three of us stayed 16 nights and it felt like a home. Serviced nearly every day.

Long stay in NYCPosted Jan 9, 2014
We stayed here for 19 days during bad weather in NYC. Staff were very accommodating as we had to change our dates etc. Breakfast could be a littke better and there was a lot of noise early in mornings from adjacent building site.

Super Midtown LocationPosted Dec 28, 2013
Pros: Roomy, clean, secure, friendly staff. Full kitchen. Nice sized living / dining room.
Cons: Just one bathroom, but we managed just fine. Kitchen is a simple affair, no cutting knives.
Location: 51st St sub sta is 2 blks north. Grand Central is 7 short blks south. Enjoyed San Martin Italian restaurant next dr. V. close to other restaurants.
We were very happy at this hotel. We were five persons; 2 adults and 3 teen / young adults. We bought 7 day subway cards for $30 ea and traveled all over town. Hotel staff very helpful w/ travel & site seeing questions & arrangements. Walked thru the Waldorf (1 blk over), Times Square, Rockefeller, & Grand Central 1st nite. (Bring great walking shoes !) Keep in mind that travel is congested M-F during rush hours, but it never slowed us down very much. ---Decided to do the Met. Museum of Art on a snowy day and loved looking at the snowy park thru the Met.'s huge glass windows. My daughter thought walking across Central Park in light snowfall felt like being in Narnia. ---This hotel is not necessarily a destination for an anniversary trip. For a nice family vacay it was terrific. ---Couldn't have been more satisfied and would return again in a heartbeat. Had 4B. Definitely some street noise due to large city stuff. My husband wore earplugs but I didn't. My son slept like a rock on the sofa bed in the living room, a little farther removed from the street. ---Breakfast inc hard boiled eggs, inst oatmeal, waffles, breads etc, fruit, yogurt, and more. From 7-10 am. ---Made our res. for week before Christmas at first of September. Bought theater tkts 4-6 wks before arrival.
