Good locationPosted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Central location
Cons: Room decor and lifts
Location: Time Square is really close. Lots of options to eat out.
We stayed for a week. Good location for Time Square and surrounding activities and must-do's. Room decor is a little dated, but the facilities are adequate. Lifts are slow and busy, plus look as though they are the original equipment from years gone by - but, they all seem to work. We didn't eat at the restaurants in the hotel - a little pricey compared to the huge variety of places in the immediate vicinity.

great location for Time SquarePosted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Perfect location , would recommend the hotel for this reason.
Cons: Bathrooms and decor!!!
Location: Perfect for Time Square, Broadway shows and subway all short walks.
Great location and staff very friendly and helpful but bathrooms need a complete renovation and some of the furniture pieces are so uncomfortable ie white plastic couch!!!

Close to Times SquarePosted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: The closeness to times square
Cons: Counter staff could be friendlier
This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed at. The counter staff are unfriendly, as we checked out she just grabbed the cards and that was it (no hoped you had a lovely stay). The standard room is NOT a room for 2 people, the bathroom was tiny and it just felt uncleaned. Would not stay here again.

4 Nights in the Big ApplePosted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: Centrally located
Cons: A bigger bathroom in the room.
Location: Excellent location, very close to the Rockefeller Centre & Central Park. A bit further afield the Empire State and Macy's for shopping.
The Hotel, the Best Western "President" at Times Square, is in an excellent position. Close to Central Park, the Rockefeller Centre, Theatres and Bars & Restaurants. All in all very handy for seeing the sights and, of course, shopping. We chose this particular Hotel because it was not very big, only 300 odd rooms. The room itself was a bit on the small side, by NY standards, but it did have a very comfortable queen size bed, most important for a good nights sleep. If you could actually sleep, because of the street noise which was almost constant. But this minor hiccup did not put a damper on our stay. We just got used to it, quickly. Just one thing, for us, let the Hotel down, and that was the Bathroom. It was the size of a broom cupboard. One person at a time, only. Our Bathroom at home was bigger than this, but hey it was usable and after all we were only on a short stay. If we returned to NY at any time in the future, I think that we would stay at this Hotel again, no problem. We'll just ask for a room with a bigger bathroom.

Pros: Great location. Heart of times squarePosted Oct 29, 2014
Room is small. Not a lot of space to put things, as well as the bathroom. Has an old hotel smell. Not as clean as expected. Vending machine broken. Didnt get the money back for it. Hotel staff were a little snob and rude, except for the lady bartender. All in all, could have gotten a way better hotel. But loved the location.

Fine, except there was no shower curtainPosted Oct 29, 2014
Cons: Vouchers for parking/parking coupons
Stayed overnight with my bf at the Best Western Presidential Hotel Times Square because we wanted to be centrally located. The room was small, but fine for just sleeping and showering. The only thing that was an issue was that our shower didn't have a shower curtain which was bizarre. Ate at the sushi restaurant next door which was delicious. Could have been cheaper for what it was but I could say that about anything in New York...

NY Stayed at Best Western Plus presidentPosted Oct 14, 2014
Front Desk lady very helpful n nice. We were allowed early check in ard 1300 hrs n was given higher floor with street view. Room was not great as there are lots of flaws noticeable comparing the price we paid can get a super nice big comfortable room in Las Vegas. Again this is NY location is great to us. Believe we can get cheaper deal if we booked two mths earlier

This hotel was really close to times square! Right in the heart of the action! Walking distances from most places.
