BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Everything, but the wi-fi charge.
Cons: Do away with wi-fi charge.
Location: Great restaurants (Eatly is just 3 blocks and worth the walk). Subway is 1 block. Easy to get almost anywhere in the city by subway.
Largest room we've ever had in NYC. Spotlessly clean. All staff from front desk to concierge friendly and very helpful. Continental breakfast and 24 hour coffee a real positive. Location is superb, with easy access to subway and excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. Only negative is the $11 daily charge for wi-fi (can avoid this by using Starbucks across the street).

Great Hotel. Great Staff

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Clean comfortable rooms & friendly helpful staff. Miguel, the concierge was wonderful helping with the subways & even ringing tour operators for me.
Location: Centrally located on Broadway. Times Square, restaurants, the theatres & Empire State Building all a shor walk away.
My daughter & I stayed for 5 nights on our recent trip to NY. The hotel is small & unassuming & centrally placed, with easy access to Times Square, the theatres & Empire State Building. Breakfast is complimentary - drinks, bagels, cakes, pastries & fruit which you could help yourself to anytime between 7am & 10am & there was complimentary tea & coffee anytime - great early morning or late at night. .

I stayed in the junior suite with 2 queen beds and pullout couch. This was the only hotel I could find with 3 beds in one room. It was perfect for the 5 in my group. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Staying on the 2nd floor was key so we could walk the stairs. ALL EMPLOYEES WERE SO HELPFUL AND NICE! The few times I have visited NY I always stayed in larger expensive upscale hotels, but the Broadway Plaza fit our needs for our girls trip. It is a boutique hotel so don't expect a large lobby with a bar. If your ok staying in the Flatiron district then great hotel choice. Just make sure your ok with the location.

Quiet, Clean, great location with courteous staff

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Stayed there over the July 4th Long weekend. The location is great and is accessible to all major sight-seeing places in NYC. A block away from the Subway station. The rooms were clean, quiet and neat. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Try to get a room above the 7/8th floor to get an awesome view of the Empire State building from your window. I got 1022 which was a corner room full of windows and views of Broadway and the Empire State. Would definitely visit again.

Affordable, great location, great staff

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Free breakfast, AC, great staff, good location
Got a room for super cheap just for the night. The staff was very kind and ready to help recommend food places, and they provided us with just really great customer service. I wasn't expecting a lot for the cheap price, but I got MORE than my money's worth. I had a bed with two fills and it was a very large room, which was shocking. We got free breakfast, which actually had some good food and coffee and it was yet another pleasant surprise.

Hotel close to empire state with friendly staff

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Liked the location, FREE BREAKFAST
Cons: There was a roach in the bathroom. I believe it was an isolated incident. Rooms are clean
Location: EATALY, MADISON SQ PARK, EMPIRE STATE BUILDING
Enjoyed my experience there. If you book without expedia, they give you free internet access/wifi. It is also much cheaper apparently.
