Nice staff, great room, typical broadway-hotel

Posted Feb 13, 2015
First thing you notice when making your way in: The staff - compared to ny standard, they even deserve the term "excellent". Very helpful and friendly concierge(s) plus doorman. The hotel itself is not as fancy as expected, but totally alright. Breakfast is perfect for the sweet tooth, but nothing more - bagels plus cream cheese, pastries and some drinks (coffee/orange juice), that's it. Still a good bargain if you don't want to spend 10-20 dollar each morning in a diner. Our room was extremely nicely decorated and furnished, clean, with a great view (both sides!), quite new. Minus: If you book via expedia, wifi is NOT complimentary and quite pricey (around 10/24h). Microwave/tea- and coffee making facilities would fit the 4star-standard even better (there is a coffee-station in the breakfast room, but the good Starbucks-blend is limited to breakfast times only). All in all a more than average Broadway hotel, quite small, with nice staff and a fantastic room.

Birthday weekend trip for a friend

Posted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: I like a smaller hotel that is easy to get in and out. Perfect for a weekend or long week. Great location and staff very nice.
Cons: N/A
Location: Great location and near the subway or quick cab ride away. They have places to eat and shop near too.
We had a great experience at the Broadway Plaza Hotel. Due to weather not sure if our flight would be cancelled or not with Delta. I called the hotel 2 days prior and spoke with Trinity. She was very helpful. We did land on time and got to the hotel around 10:30 am. They took our bags from the taxi and got them to our room ASAP. We checked in and they had a room ready. The room was spotless, the hallway was spotless, the breakfast area spotless. The bed very comfortable and room spacious and very quite. The bathroom was spacious and they had large and soft towels. Nice to have coffee and tea 24/7 and the breakfast with bagels, Danish, juice and fruit. The area was perfect with Starbucks across the street and a pizza place next door. The subway one block up the street. The hotel staff very friendly and professional. They helped us with directions and Broadway show tickets. Can't say enough about this hotel.

Terrible . Simply terrible

Not a good experience at all. Hotel is very stingy. Dirty rooms, very old bed frames , everything is so squeaky. Room for breakfast is small, can't even move around . Stuff is not friendly .

Small hallways.. Huge Rooms

Posted Jan 27, 2015
I stayed at this hotel in late January of 2015.. The hotel seemed very small from the size of the hallways and elevators, but once I reached my room.. I was shocked.. It was huge with a great view of the Empire State Building.. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful.. The room service diner had great food.. I liked this place very much.. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect location just south of Time Square.

Lovely hotel, with pleasant and very friendly staff. All of whom were great in making us feel welcome and equally for recommending the best places to go with a more authentic New York'er atmosphere.

nice hotel

Posted Jan 22, 2015
The hotel was very nice and considerably cheap for the area. The only problem we has was that the walls were very thin and you could hear a lot from the other rooms, and the elevator, through the walls

Great hotel and location

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Location and comfort
Cons: continental breakfast could have more choice but no big deal
Location: Close to many subway stations - very convenient, very close walk to the Village
I loved staying here - Great location, close to the Village exactly what I was looking at a reasonable price - will stay there again - friendly and helpful staff
