I stayed in the junior suite with 2 queen beds and pullout couch. This was the only hotel I could find with 3 beds in one room. It was perfect for the 5 in my group. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Staying on the 2nd floor was key so we could walk the stairs. ALL EMPLOYEES WERE SO HELPFUL AND NICE! The few times I have visited NY I always stayed in larger expensive upscale hotels, but the Broadway Plaza fit our needs for our girls trip. It is a boutique hotel so don't expect a large lobby with a bar. If your ok staying in the Flatiron district then great hotel choice. Just make sure your ok with the location.

Quiet, Clean, great location with courteous staff

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Stayed there over the July 4th Long weekend. The location is great and is accessible to all major sight-seeing places in NYC. A block away from the Subway station. The rooms were clean, quiet and neat. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Try to get a room above the 7/8th floor to get an awesome view of the Empire State building from your window. I got 1022 which was a corner room full of windows and views of Broadway and the Empire State. Would definitely visit again.

Affordable, great location, great staff

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Free breakfast, AC, great staff, good location
Got a room for super cheap just for the night. The staff was very kind and ready to help recommend food places, and they provided us with just really great customer service. I wasn't expecting a lot for the cheap price, but I got MORE than my money's worth. I had a bed with two fills and it was a very large room, which was shocking. We got free breakfast, which actually had some good food and coffee and it was yet another pleasant surprise.

Hotel close to empire state with friendly staff

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Liked the location, FREE BREAKFAST
Cons: There was a roach in the bathroom. I believe it was an isolated incident. Rooms are clean
Location: EATALY, MADISON SQ PARK, EMPIRE STATE BUILDING
Enjoyed my experience there. If you book without expedia, they give you free internet access/wifi. It is also much cheaper apparently.

Ask for room #1301; you won't regret it.

Pros: The View!!!
Location: A few blocks away is Madison Square Park in the Flatiron district. Maybe a ten minute walk to nice shops and restaurants.
Nicely decorated and very clean room. The view is the amazing part. Room #1301 is a corner room filled with windows. The Empire State Building is staring right at you! From the bed you can see all the way up to Times Square. It's really quite stunning. Only downside is that the hotel is in an area of town that really shuts down at the end of the business day, and by the time it is dark, there are many homeless people hanging around. I am a New Yorker so I wouldn't call it scary per se, but some may be slightly uncomfortable.

Not what i pictured.

Pros: Reasonably priced. Starbucks across the street.
Cons: Doubt much. it is what it is.
Location: N/A
Hotel was adequate and probably a decent value for the price. neighborhood was not what I had envisioned. Staff pleasant and accommodating. Window AC units noisy. Probably would not choose to stay there again.

Small hotel right on Broadway.

The entrance is just a small door leading to a modest lobby. The rooms were surprisingly large.

One Night Stand

Posted Jun 19, 2014
The one night stand was conveniently located between the two full size beds and had a lamp and an iHome allowing us iPhone junkies to recharge while we slept. The room was larger than I imagined and the bathroom was huge (by Manhattan standards.) Overall, clean, quiet, comfortable and a very good value. Super location and very helpful staff. The snack room on the fourth floor was a real bonus with fresh ground and brewed coffee on demand. So sorry I was unable to stay for the complimentary breakfast but off to work I had to go -- fortunately, very well rested.

The entrance was very small and dark. It didn't seem very inviting at all. The room was large and clean and the beds were comfortable. The lighting was very old and should be updated. Overall, I would return to this hotel.
