Stay away from this hotel.

Pros: NOTHING
Cons: Fire entire staff. Hire new and train them properly. Ask them not to eat customers fruit and food. Pay them enough so they can buy their own food.
I booked this hotel because of its location. But when I reached there, I was disappointed. Hotel condition is bad. In my room the Fridge was making loud noise. I called front desk about this. Someone came to our room to fix the fridge issue when I was away at night for dinner. I noticed, that maintenance person ate the fruits I had kept in my fridge. What kind of hotel staff does that. Another horrible experience. I checked in at 4 PM and checked out at 10 AM next morning. I paid $55 for over night parking. Recently when I looked at my credit card statement, I noticed that they had charged my card for two nights parking. I had very hard time disputing this charge with hotel staff. I had been calling them for almost four days. Spoke with their manager Jason but nothing happen. They were all rude. They said they will call me back after talking with parking but no one ever called back. So stay away from this dingy hotel. There are many similar hotels with almost same price so stay there. Maybe they might be good.

Super friendly service, comfortable mini-suites

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: The rooms had a brand new kitchenette, complete with large microwave, stovetop, dishwasher and full-sized fridge, along with pots, pans, dishes, etc.
Location: Right near Times Square (< 5-minute walk), near the ferry (~8 minute walk), near Broadway (< 5-minute walk)
We stayed at the Candlewood Times Square for four nights. The staff was outstanding, both in their friendliness and responsiveness. They had a free DVD library available and made some very good suggestions for restaurants, grocery stores, etc. in the immediate area. I definitely recommend them.

Between Times Square and Hells Kitchen

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: It's convenience
Cons: In the closet is a safe unfortunately the closet is small so the safe is the width of the closet. This leaves about 30 inches of hanging space up.
Location: Lots to do. Possibilities are endless from the craziness of Times Square to theatres on Broadway to Carlos Bakery (Cake Boss) on 42nd St
Hotel is on 39th Street between 8th and 9th Ave. 10 minute walk to Times Square. Lots of very good restaurants on 9th Ave. No restaurant in the hotel so you need to walk around the corner for your meals. Hotel rooms are relatively small but you aren't in NYC to sit in the hotel room. No daily cleaning service is provided but additional towels will be provided with a call.

Comfortable and friendly staff

The hotel was perfect for what we wanted. It's close to everything, clean with basic kitchen and free do it yourself laundry. The staff were very friendly and helpful! We asked lots of questions and they were only to happy to help.

Posted Apr 15, 2015
