Position. Position, Position!!!!Posted Jul 15, 2015
Location: It is within a very very short walk to Time Square with access to subway and Broadway therefore going anywhere is not a hassle.
Casablanca is within sneezing distance of Times square, the subway, broadway, and consequently within easy reach of everywhere. The staff could not be bettered ANYWHERE. The service is tremendous - the breakfast room is open all the time and always has access to food and drinks. It is quiet. The rooms are clean - even given a second go over before night-time and leave a chocolate for you every night!! Who could ask for anything more??? A great place.!!!!

2 Seconds from Times Square .....Posted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: The atmosphere, nice and relaxed, the staff were top class and always eager to assist in any way you required .......
Cons: I honestly can't think of anything, if we return to New York in the future we would only ever stay at the Casablanca Hotel again, enough said I think
Location: Out the door turn right and within seconds you are into Times Square, there are places to eat either side of the hotel both of which I would recommend
It was like going into a time machine once you walked into the Casablanca hotel, from the thousands of people, noise etc etc that you would expect from a location 10 seconds from Times Square, however when you walk through the front door it's quiet and there friendly smiling faces greeting you. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special and certainly cared for, the morning breakfast was a real nice start to the day and the evening Wine & Cheese was a nice way to wind down from the day before the evening's excursions, these were provided in Rick's café which is the located on the 2nd floor, there were morning papers provided and 24hours coffee and tea's were available here. We were located on the top floor but as there were only six floors it never took long to go up or down, the lifts were efficient, we never waited long for one to come along. Our room was nothing short of 1st class the bed and shower were to die for after the long full days experiencing the joys of New York, there are no views from our windows but as you are so close to everything happening it was never a problem. There is a very pleasant courtyard also on the second floor, a computer and printer which came in handy when we needed to print off our boarding cards for going home. On our final day the hotel kindly looked after our bags to allow us time to say goodbye to the city and on our return they allowed us to use Rick's Café until our taxi arrived. Superb 6 night 7 day holiday ..............

Great Hotel - best servicePosted Jun 9, 2015
Location: Great central location.
Very close to TSquare but I would say very quiet for its location. You are still Close to the action so there can still be some noise but I think that is going to be the way in most places in New York unless you're 20 stories up. The service and little perks are what makes this hotel stand out. Everyone is very attentive and always trying to go the extra mile. Really enjoyed coming to the lounge for happy hour on a few of the days for a glass of wine.

The perfect New York HotelPosted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: Everything! We have stayed at large hotels in Manhattan but don't think this one can be beaten.
Cons: Don't change a thing.
Location: Times Square is on your doorstep, Broadway theatres are a few minutes minutes walk away.Take the subway a couple of minutes walk and see Manhattan.
The Casablanca Hotel is ideally situated in Times Square a couple of minutes walk to one of the main subway stations connecting you to the whole of Manhattan. After a busy day looking at the amazing sights it is a haven of peace and quiet having approximately 40 odd bedrooms. The staff are wonderful really friendly, even asking as you go out if you would like water to take with you.

An oasis of calmPosted May 29, 2015
Pros: Calm clean inviting atmosphere
Cons: It would be nice if the rooms were bigger and the air con not so loud, but we were glad we had it, heat wave out side.
Location: Did i mention it's right off Times Square?
First time in New York. Couldn't have asked for a more central hotel. It's about 4 doors down from Times Square. Ok, so the room (306) isn't the biggest, but it's just off Times Square. The hotel itself is clean and tidy and the staff are by and large a credit to them (only let down by the night shift that didn't call us at 02:30 for our wake up call as arranged; he did apologise at 03:00 when he called but that's late and we had a plane to catch...). Loved the decor, like something out an old movie, but comfortable and would definitely stay there again. They really do make you feel welcome, and did i mention it's just off Times Square?

Cons: Doesn't need any improvement.
Location: It was very central in New York, we walked to a lot of the main things, Empire State Buildimg, Rockefeller Centre, Madam Tussauds and just out the fro
This was an excellent hotel, we couldn't have been happier. The staff could not be more helpful. I would recommend it to everyone.
