Brilliant stay in the Big Apple.
Posted Jan 12, 2013
Pros: Location, amenities and most of all the staff.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Less than 50 yards from Times Square. And yes, New York does sleep at night. All quiet by 12:30 am.
With Times Square just round the corner, I was amazed to be in such a comfortable, friendly hotel. The breakfast in the morning was excellent as was the wine and cheese in the early evening. The staff were brilliant. I have been fortunate to stay in many hotels during my career, I couldn't recommend any more highly than this. Thank you Casablanca and in particular the staff.

Best hotel just step from Broadway and everything!
Posted Jan 9, 2013
Pros: All of the above, but location to Broadway was most important.
Cons: ???? nothing......keep up the good work!
Location: Broadway shows, good restaurants, Central Park, a quick underground ride to Ground Zero, shopping
Terrific experience! Plan to book there again in near future! Excellent, professional and friendly clerks at desk. Polite, friendly servers for breakfast. Ample healthy choices of food for breakfast. Loved the 24 hour coffee/tea bar and fruit available upstairs. Very quiet hotel, but it's tucked in the middle of the City's action! The Best!

My comments mirror those before me, great little hotel in the centre of NYC. I would use again or encourage my friends to use the Casablaca at the drop of a hat. My wife and I had a great stay.

Great for peace and quiet

Pros: Rick's Cafe
Casablanca has no gym or pool (which are available nearby) but it is very comfortable and has a relaxed cosy homely feel. It is a peaceful retreat only yards from the bustle of Times Square. Internet and snacks are available all day. The hospitality is excellent and its situation is ideal for exploring Times Square and Manhattan. if I return to New York, I will be more than happy to stay there again.

Oasis in the Heart of Mid-Town

Pros: complimentary food and cozy clean rooms
Cons: the brass statue of a lepoard in the elevator lobby
Location: very well located to Time Square and Broadway theatres
Great boutique hotel just off Time Square with a great Italian family style restaurant next door. The staff is knowledgeable and professional and the breakfast and afternoon appetizers are high quality and plentiful. I would stay here again.

I found this hotel everything I hoped it would be and more. I would recommend this hotel to any one wishing to go to New York especially if you would like to be near Times Square. The staff were all extremely helpful.

Location, service, personality and quality.

Pros: Personal touch and style.
Cons: Number of tables in breakfast room.
Location: Perfect for most activites
The hotel was in a perfect location! Have no concern for noise as anywhere you could stay in NY is going to have traffic noise. It's moments walk from time square (where tour bissws depart) and there is often something going on there and we didn't hear a thing. Its 2 mins walk to the theatres, 5 mins walk to central station, 25 mins walk to Central Park and 30 mins walk to Tiffany and all those shops. It has a nice quirky side to the hotel and rooms that we loved. Much more than the inpersoal and cold feeling to mainstream hotels. The staff were lovely and helpful. They would assist you in whatever you needed. Breakfast was not a fry up or pancakes but there was still a bountyfull spread to suit most people. We would dedenatly stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Great location, friendly hotel.

This hotel and staff lived up to all of the great reviews on trip adviser. It's central location means you can 'pop' back to the hotel for short breaks, relaxing in the lounge area - a great way to talk to other visitors, learning more about NY. When we revisit, this will be where we stay again.

Superbly placed hotel
Posted Jan 14, 2013
Pros: Coffee on tap all day. Free WiFi in room
Cons: Bell ringing during the night from downstairs car park!
Location: Perfect location for all the sights
The Casablanca is superbly positioned on the corner of Time Square so ideally placed for easy walking to all the sites or for the Subway. The entrance to the hotel is best described as unpretentious and certainly not on the scale of some of the other top hotels in the city. But the greeting is warm and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. A short elevator ride to our room on the 6th floor and like others in the City it was compact as expected but very well furnished with a superb bathroom and walk in shower. as an added bonus we had a bottle of wine left in the room as it was our anniversary. The next morning we had breakfast in the hotel lounge. A great selection of fruit, cereals, cakes, croissants coffee, tea etc. The staff were very attentive. We used the lounge frequently throughout our stay with coffee always on tap and free use of the PC. We would highly recommend the Casablanca.
