First time in NYC 2013Posted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: Everything - rooms, staff, location, Rick's lounge. I cannot fault.
Location: Times Square on your doorstep, next to Hard Rock Cafe and any number of restaraunts and right in the heart of Braodway.
Booked this hotel after reading some reviews on Tripadviser and what can I say....superb. Before we even arrived the hotel had impressed by taking delivery of an item for me and arranging a late check out if I needed it. Location is amazing - right on Times Square. Service was outstanding from the minute we walked into reception to be greeted by the friendly doorman to the moment we left where the same doorman stood in sub zero temperatures to flag us a cab. The rooms were excellent with extremely comfortable beds- I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and have to say the beds here are right up there. In-room facilities are great with robes, slippers and amazing toiletries. There is no on-site restaraunt although Tony's Italian is next door and wonderful. Rick's on the second floor though is the hidden gem. All day hot drinks and complimentary pastries, the most amazing buffet breakfast...and if that wasn't enough a cheese and wine reception every night (again complimentary) from 5-8pm. This hotel knows how to treat guests, Casablanca don't ever change. I will be coming back and I will be recommending you to anyone I know that is coming to New York. Thank you!

Great hotel very close to Times SquarePosted Nov 19, 2013
Pros: Very friendly staff and always willing to help you with providing directions and information about New York.
Cons: No view and no natural lighting in the room that we had, but minor detail because everything else was great.
Location: Location is absolutely fantastic. You can walk everywhere from the hotel such as Times Square, Macy's, Rockefeller Centre, NBC Studios, Broadway etc..
We loved our stay at the Casablanca Hotel. It was a girl's weekend, our first time in New York and we could not have picked a better place. We arrived early in the morning knowing that our room would not be ready and we were warmly greeted to the Casablanca. They offered us breakfast which we greatly appreciated and stored our luggage. All staff members are so nice and friendly. The continental breakfast was great, good food choices such as fruits, cereals, hard boiled eggs, toasts and pastries. Loved the wine and cheese they serve each night at 5:00 in a very relaxing atmosphere with music and a fireplace. It's a cozy place.

Cozy place just steps away from Times SquarePosted Nov 18, 2013
The Casablanca Hotel locates just steps away from Times Square. You can go anywhere in NY city by subway. Besides, it is only 10 to 15 minutes' walk from the hotel to Grand Central Station or theaters on Broadway. What I like most about this hotel is its cozy and at-home atmosphere. All the receptionists and the greeters were so friendly that I felt at ease and comfortable staying there. Also Rick's cafe on the 2nd floor serves you complimentary breakfast, coffee and cookies. You can use the cafe for talking, reading and relaxing yourself 24 hours a day. I really liked spending time at the cafe. You cannot expect a wonderful view from the window of the room. But I highly recommend that you stay at the Casablanca Hotel if you are looking for a heart-warming place.

Superb Hotel- Times Square in your doorstep!Posted Nov 17, 2013
Pros: Friendliness of staff; complimentary coffee and pastries; Wine & Cheese a nice touch!
Location: Great location for Times Square, 5th Ave, Broadway, Central Park, Empire State Building & Rockafella Centre.
This is a great hotel just off 7th Ave and 43rd Street (as close to Times Square as you would wish). From the minute we walked in we felt welcomed by friendly staff, and this contimued throughout our stay (4 nights). The rooms are extreemly comfortable (we had a deluxe Queens), and are equipped with everything that you require. Breakfast, whilst continental in style, is very good with a good selection of cornflakes, fruit and pastries - This sets you up for the vast amount of walking that you are likely to do! With complimentary coffee and pastries available throughout the day you can however break-up your travels and pop back in for a refuel if you are in the area. The complimentary wine and cheese provided from 17:00 - 20:00 each evening is an excellent touch and Tony's restaurant next door is well worth a visit. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone - and would be my fisrt choice when booking again.

Quiet sanctuary in the middle of Times SquarePosted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: Location and service.
Location: This hotel is located in the heart of Times Square. You can walk to restaurants, shopping, and the subway.
We absolutely loved this hotel. We stayed in a king room; the room was spacious, and the bathroom was very large. The best part about this hotel has to be the service though. Excellent service and free snacks/coffee/teas all day long. We went to New York for our Babymoon, and the close proximity to the subway and Times Square made this trip extremely enjoyable. Will book this hotel again when we visit New York.

Great location. Great Hotel.Posted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: Location. Service. Rick's Cafe.
Cons: Maybe the HVAC system.
Location: Being in the center of Times Square everything is close by, theaters, restaurants, shops, etc. Try Don't Tell Moma for piano bar and dinner(46th St)
We could not have been more satisfied. The Casablanca is in the center of the action, but when you are inside the hotel, particularly Rick's Cafe, it is tranquil. Service is excellent. The Casablanca will always be our first choice.

Great stay once againPosted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: The staff are exceptional and it gives off a warm and cosy atmosphere. We prefer boutique hotels rather than big impersonal tower blocks.
Cons: Get rid of the TV's in the lounge or at least turn them off during the evening wine session.
Location: Just off Times Square so very central.
Once again a great stay in our favourite hotel in NYC. We do not have to do any sightseeing so it more for the relaxation and quietness of The Casablanca in the madness that is Times Square.
