Honey I shrunk the kidsPosted Jul 24, 2014
Photos on website must have been taken with a wide angle lens. The room was barely large enough for the bed! Wallpaper was peeling off the walls and ceiling. The bathroom was nice except for the water stains on the ceiling from water damage. The staff was polite and helpful however there is lots of confusion over the 2 different room service breakfast menus. So it was easier to eat out than try to sort it out. Despite the impression that there is an on-premise gym, there is not. You can purchase a $30 per day pass to the NY Athletic Club down the street. So if you want to work out, you have to buy the pass because there isn't enough room to do a push-up in the room!

Very nice and close to BroadwayPosted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Small friendly and affordable
Cons: Pretty much very thing was great
Location: Everything we wanted to see was so close and easy to get to and Times square at night can only be experienced to understand how stunning it is.
Satisfied all the things we needed as a family, room was great, staff friendly and just across the road was the best coffee place we found in NY.

Very nice hotel -central locationPosted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: The facilities and comfort of the room, attention to our specified needs, pleasant and efficient staff and the location.
Cons: A mini-fridge would have been an added value.
Location: Near everything. A few minutes from Times Square, Broadway shows, or Grand Central Station or the Empire State Building and Bryant Park.
Our overall experience with this hotel has been very positve and apprciated. We were very pleased to be greeted by Alex who switched to French when she discovered it was our native language. She was very attentive to our needs and we were upgrated to a very nice room which we very much appreciated. This hotel is a little gem in the center of Manhattan, 5 minutes walk to Tmes Square on one side or to Grand Central Station on the other side. Rooms are very nice, with good quality bedsheets, towels and amenities. Modern bathroom with efficient shower(plenty hot water and good water pressure). We appreciated all the staff at City Hotel, be it at front desk, concierge, cleaning staff or the manager who authorized our upgrade. They contributed to make our first stay in New York one to remember.

Club City Hotel near the heart of a Times SquarePosted Jul 16, 2014
Lovely hotel with spacious rooms. Walking distance from the the spectacular sights of Times Square and Broadway. Located in Midtown Manhattan, it is a short walk to the shops on the famous 5th Avenue & Madison Avenue. There are easy transport links to Upper and Lower Manhattan and onwards to other boroughs like Brooklyn & the Bronx. Weather nice & hot in July. We will definitely book this hotel again!

Great Location-upscale gentleman's club atmpshperePosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Hotel Staff and location
Cons: Wi-Fi and cable working better and need Vending Machines
Location: 2 blocks from Time Square and easy walking to all Broadway shows, Rockefeller Center, the Metro and the Empire State Building
The hotel staff are very nice and professional. The Wi-Fi and cable did not work for 2 of the 4 days that I stayed at the hotel, but they arranged for FREE Wi-Fi in the lobby only on those 2 days. 2 blocks from Time Square and easy walking to all Broadway shows, Rockefeller Center, the Metro and the Empire State Building. Situated between the Algonquin and Iriquois hotels. My room (705) was very quite because it was between other rooms and the next building, so no view. The AC works great and the bathroom is very elegant.

worst room ever.Posted Jul 10, 2014
Cons: be true about the offering.
Location: location is ok.
The room i got was the petite room. I'm 6'1", and the bed was 10" too short for my feet to stay inside. Bed was way below par as it was wobbly and unstable as well, hence lying on my belly would not only leave from my chins down hanging, but my knees over extended. You know what a night like that means.... figure 7 nights.. The room i got was through the unpublished rates, which have to be accepted as is, but expedia neglected the fact that the one and only reason for a person to choose an unpublished rate offer, is trust. The trust that you will get the good stuff you'd otherwise had chosen, only at a smaller rate. Not a substandard product. to top that off, there was no cable or internet for 4 days.
