“Well priced for NYC”

Nice lobby, courteous staff, great included breakfast, free Wi-Fi, convenient location, all add up to an enjoyable stay. Was it the biggest room? No, but it was priced well, for Manhattan, and was a bargain for our stay, over the week of Thanksgiving. We saved money to enjoy more sights in NYC, and did not have to worry about breakfast...which includes homemade, (and made to order), waffles, if you wish!

“Pictures are deceiving”

It isn't the worst hotel but I didn't feel safe and ended up moving to a new hotel and paying double for my trip. If all you want is somewhere to lay your head at night after drinking too much it is perfect. It simply wasn't what I expected from pictures and reviews.

“Single Room is Tiny”

The lobby area is bigger than I expected but the furniture is old and outdated. The small breakfast area was decent, not bad if you want complimentary danishes, toast, bagels, cereal and waffles. We had a room with one double bed. There was maybe two feet worth of space on either side of the bed, plus another two feet between the end of the bed and the desk and drawer. Very cramped. There was a small closet next to the bathroom. No counter space on the sink, just a small shelf below the mirror. There was a blow drier. The towels were kind of thin, but at least soft. The bed was too soft and springy for my taste, it moved a lot when my wife or I moved. Everything about the hotel is tiny. The hallways were very narrow and the elevator was small. It's not a bad place if you're just looking for somewhere to rest your head. I gave my driver license and credit card at the front desk when we checked in and they forgot to give my license back to me. I didn't realize it until I got to the airport. We were there for two nights and nobody contacted me or left a note to let me know they had it at the front desk. I had to blow money on a cab to run back and get it, I barely made my flight.

“Not fancy but great for the price.”

The room was clean and everything worked. Staff were attentive and polite. There were pigeons in the alleyway outside my window that made some noise, there was a leaking pipe in the bathroom that made other sounds, and a drunk girl yelling at someone down the hall at 5 a.m., all of which didn't help sleep, but everything in the room was otherwise fine. A/c, lights, TV, wi-fi all worked. Bed was clean and comfortable.

“Small for the price”

For the price, the room was extremely small. Single bed. Hotel has all amenities, free breakfast, and is in convenient location.

“Despite tight room space and poor AC, it is clean and the location is very good.”

If you like Indian or Pakistanian food, this hotel can be a good choice. There are may good Indian & Pakistanian restaurants in its neighborhood. It is close to #6 subway station and only few blocks away from Penn Station.

“Poorly lighted bathroom”

For $xxx a night, I expected to have at least a well lighted bathroom. In broad daylight, I looked in the mirror to shave and could barely see my face. Really, electricity isn't that expensive. Put some lights in the bathroom!!!!!

“Good location for a quick overnight stop”

Free internet, breakfast and central location made the stay worthwhile, but only for a short period as room was small with a view of a wall and fire escape.

“Great Hotel!”

It is just the great hotel in the great location! A lot of good restaurants in the area. It is in a walking distance from Madison Square park and Flatiron Building. The hotel staff is very polite. Room are clean. Wi-Fi connection was easy to setup and fast. They serve nice breakfast in their cafe equipped with large flat screen TV.
