Great hotel with perfect location

Posted Sep 9, 2014
My husband and I were there 4 nights, loved location, close to theatre, restaurants, and just far enough from the craziness of times square

Great hotel and a great location

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. They offered many ameneties. The hotel was clean and the room was well appointed.
Cons: Some of the furniture had small nicks in it and could easily be touched up. The shower grout could have been cleaner and the shower curtain smelled.
Location: Times Square is very near and there are MANY restaurants close by. It is a safe area, but parking is difficult.
This hotel was a great find. It was reasonable for its location. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage in a secure place and when the room was ready, they moved it to our room.

Perfect for one night in the city

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Convenient to our mid-town offices and having coffee in the morning.
Cons: The bathroom could use some touch ups. I don't know if the restaurant was good -- it seemed empty.
I traveled to New York for business and thought I'd try Club Quarters since it is very close to my offices. It was very convenient and the staff was welcoming. They asked if I was a light sleeper and placed me in a room that was just right.

Nice Motel in Times Square

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: The rooms need an urgent upgrade!!
I stayed last weekend at this hotel. I have to start by saying that the location is excellent but the hotel condition was a total disappointment. The room was small, very noisy (the noise insulation is terrible!) the mattress old and no comfortable at all, so the pillows. The bathroom was equipped with only cheap soaps (no that I used them but is nice to have it); and the water pressure in the shower was almost none, so we had to wait approx. 5 min to get hot water, but then it was too hot! You move it 2mm and then the water was totally cold!! In general, there is not difference between this hotel and a $60 motel you find on the road, except for the location.

Great location Midtown NYC

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Staff at hotel and bar were very nice and helpful. Amenities were good and the room was clean and cozy with a comfy bed. Great location.
Cons: Sound proof the windows on the 45th St side. Too much street noise. TV reception very poor and I like to start day with the news
Location: Midtown Manhattan location is excellent. Close to Time Sq, and 30 Rock. No need for car or cab as feet can get you to a lot and to the subway for more
I liked the hotel and will stay there again so long as my room is not on the 45th St side. It is very noisy due to nightly trash pick-up. Also the TV reception was poor but I only watched a bit before bed. Otherwise nice hotel, comfy bed, nice amenities and staff with great location Midtown NYC. Walking distance to much and just a subway ride to the rest.

Great location

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: It was very close to everything we wanted to do and to Grand Central Station. Room had plenty of outlets for charging phones, computers, ipad and came
Cons: Could not get extra pillows or ironing board like we needed. We asked too late...they were all gone in the evening.
Location: Very close to the train station and many of the attractions we came to see
It was very close to everything we wanted to do and to Grand Central Station. Room had plenty of outlets for charging phones, computers, ipad and camera!!! Coffee in room was nice. Club room was very nice for getting coffee (latte was delicious) and for waiting to go to train station. It was nice to have access to free bottled water!! We needed it. Could not get extra pillows or ironing board like we needed. We asked too late...they were all gone in the evening.

Quiet Comfort Close to Attractions

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Quiet. Location. Cleanliness. Reasonable prices.
Although only two blocks from bustling Times Square, Club Quarters provided quiet and comfortable lodging. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. Patrick's, the in-house restaurant, served tasty food at reasonable prices. The business lounge is a great place to meet friends or associates. It was the perfect home base for touring Manhattan hot spots.

Excellent location. Friendly service. Fair value

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Ideal location for pleasure and business. Quite rooms
Cons: Nothing really. I think the rooms were too small, but considering where you are, I guess we can live with it.
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Booked a triple room and they gave us one with a double bed fold-able bed which was slightly uncomfortable for our teenage son, but it’s OK. After all, who’s wants to sleep when in New York City for a couple of days? Staff was friendly and helpful. The day we checked out we had no problem keeping our luggage at the hotel past our check out time. The lobby is nice and has an old charm to it. There is free coffee and soda and two computers if you want to check your mail; revisit plans or print a confirmation. There is Wi-Fi… fast and free for all. There is a restaurant inside the hotel where you can have breakfast but was not included in our room rate. That worked better because there must be 4 or 5 cafes steps from the hotel where you can have a nice breakfast. One of them wasacross the hotel. Manhattan Café I think. It offered endless variety for breakfast and lunch and cheap too. Location was ideal… minutes from the phenomenal Times Square with all the lights and noise, yet in a quiet, charming typical NYC street. The hotel is minutes from Grand Central station and several subway and bus stops. Taxis are not very expensive in NYC. Actually they are a cheaper option for groups of 3 or 4 on short trips. But are hard to find.
