It is a NYC HotelPosted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: Affordable, mostly clean. Free Wi-Fi. Bedding better than most.
Cons: Elevators are small and sloowww. Rooms are small, but you can't improve that. We were in the room very little.
Location: Depends on where you want to be in NYC.
Overall, I would return to this location. However, I might ask for a room on an upper level floor for a window I can see out of. Ours, on the 3rd floor was opaque. Probably because we would see an airs haft or brick wall. The room was a little musty. The staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast in the dining room was expensive, even by NY standards. The bill resembled room service with auto 18% gratuity and extra fee. We felt safe, comfortable and were in walking distance of Grand Central and the Broadway Theatre.

Value for Money; Great LocationPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The location. It's a block and a half from Times Square and within walking distance of many of the theatres.
Cons: The lounge is small, so the bar stock is a bit limited. We had to compromise on some drinks.

My wife and I stayed three nights, the second time we've stayed at this hotel. The rooms are not spacious but they're functional and adequate for our needs, i.e., a place to sleep and get ready before spending the day enjoying New York.

Close to the lights.Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was a good value.
Cons: Have smokers in smoking rooms only. The room smelled so bad my nose closed up due to the cigarette smoke smell.
Location: Could walk to everything in the area. Close to all major transportation
The hotel was OK. Expensive for what you got. The room was more like a dorm room.

Convenient location. Basic AccomodationPosted Sep 16, 2014
Cons: room decor. Bar and restaurant decor and ambiance.
Location: well located between Times Square and Grand Central Terminal so easy access to any activity near a subway line. Nice restaurants in the vicinty
I have stayed in a Club Quarters before and this one was more basic in terms of room quality. I am used to NYC hotel rooms being relatively small but the room was very basic and a little shabby. OK for somewhere to crash on a sightseeing weekend but did not add to the great NYC experience.

Great hotel with perfect locationPosted Sep 9, 2014
My husband and I were there 4 nights, loved location, close to theatre, restaurants, and just far enough from the craziness of times square

Great hotel and a great locationPosted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. They offered many ameneties. The hotel was clean and the room was well appointed.
Cons: Some of the furniture had small nicks in it and could easily be touched up. The shower grout could have been cleaner and the shower curtain smelled.
Location: Times Square is very near and there are MANY restaurants close by. It is a safe area, but parking is difficult.
This hotel was a great find. It was reasonable for its location. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage in a secure place and when the room was ready, they moved it to our room.

Perfect for one night in the cityPosted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Convenient to our mid-town offices and having coffee in the morning.
Cons: The bathroom could use some touch ups. I don't know if the restaurant was good -- it seemed empty.
I traveled to New York for business and thought I'd try Club Quarters since it is very close to my offices. It was very convenient and the staff was welcoming. They asked if I was a light sleeper and placed me in a room that was just right.
