Good location for travelling around NY

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: The location.
Cons: There is no minibar/fridge in the room, no personal safe, no kettle to make a hot drink. The lock didn't work very well and the walls are paper thin.
Location: 10 minutes walk to the Park Slope area where there are loads of shops, coffee bars and restaurants.
Picked this hotel off Expedia because the ones in Manhattan were all too expensive. The Union Street subway is only 5 minutes walk but allow plenty of time to travel when planning your sightseeing. Breakfast was poor and never room for people to sit down but there is an excellent diner at the Union Street station.

Nice hotel

Posted Apr 11, 2015
The Hotel room overall was clean with everything working. I couldn't figure how to get the TV screen to show video instead of audio only. The guy at the front desk was unfortunately working alone for a busy night. But he was very helpful. Hotel parking costs an additional $40 USD a night. The area is partially commercial buildings so the closest deli for snacks is about two blocks away, so get everything you need on your way in to the hotel. Check online for nearby places for food delivery.

Nice stay for Neil Diamond concert.

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful! Several nice choices.
Cons: You need a bigger breakfast area. It was crowded.
Location: Nice motel near restaurants and Barclay Center.
Staff was helpful at front reception desk. We enjoyed the room and especially the free breakfast.

Schlafstätte in einem Vorort New Yorks

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals war super
Cons: Am Frühstück kann man deutlich etwas verbessern
Location: In der Nähe ist das Barclays Center (Konzerte, Basketballspiele, ...)
Unser Aufenthalt betrug 8 Tage. An manchen Tagen waren morgens alle Tische bereits besetzt.

Nice hotel - near Brooklyn Academy of Music

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Able to walk to Brooklyn Academy of Music and good restaurants. The personnel at the lobby desk were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Some signage to help a person locate the hotel from a more main street such as 4th.
Location: Walked to Brooklyn Academy of Music - important. Area around hotel a bit on the edge of comfort. but we managed.
A comfortable hotel at a low (for NYC) price that enabled us to walk to places we wanted to go to in Brooklyn. Television didn't work, but we didn't really need this. Light between beds on nightstand didn't work the second day.

Super Ausgangslage

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: kostenloses Frühstück Lage
Cons: Hohe Parkgebühren von 35 US-Dollar pro Nacht zzgl. Steuern!!!!!!!!

Nice hotel for a good night out

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Went there for a mini getaway night. Was pretty satisfied with the room, hotel staff were very friendly, had no problems at all during my stay. Good selection of channels on the tv and the bed was super comfortable. Haven't had a good night's sleep as I did over there in awhile. Would definitely go again as well as recommend to others.

Very average hotel

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Rooms were clean.
Cons: Parking Space in breakfast room- very crowded when we were there Very slow elevator
Location: Lousy location. Easy car ride (and probably public transportation) to many nearby restaurants, but certainly not a pleasant walk.
We booked three rooms at the hotel for two nights at a local conference. The hotel experience was fine. Nothing excellent, but didn't expect it to be more than fine. The hotel space was tight, both in the guest rooms and in the lobby. But this is NYC. The location was certainly not what we hoped. While we came from a large city, we didn't feel comfortable walking in the area at night. Even during the day the walk in the next block of nearby construction was awful (dirty and fairly disgusting, with dog feces everywhere.) May be an upcoming area, but certainly not yet "up." The hotel is located not far from many restaurants, but not with easy access. Parking was also an issue.
