Comfort Inn in BrooklynPosted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Quiet room , bit cramped but comfortable bed, and very nice bathroom. Only one socket for recharging and very inaccessible.
Cons: Dining room too cramped. Total scrum for food , incredibly slow toaster. Better choice of fresh fruit or muesli should be offered. Safe needed in room
Generally very quiet and comfortable but go very early for breakfast . Dining room very cramped.

Hotel was excellent and close to shopping malls.Posted Sep 2, 2014
All of the staff was friendly and courteous but Sapphire's customer skills is excellent. She lights up the front desk. Isaac was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond his duties to accommodate me even though he was busy. He is a keeper. Margaret is an excellent breakfast host. She made absolute sure that the dishes were replenish. She was also friendly and approachable. Victor was also extremely helpful. His people relation skills is excellent. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. My friend and I had a wonderful time.

Hotel stay in BrooklynPosted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Sumptuous complimentary breakfast which included fresh waffles, omelettes, bacon/sausages. Location close to Barclay, a metro subway hub.
Cons: Some local rail and city maps at the counter.
Location: Less than 10 mts. walk to Barclays, the metro station. Plenty of eating places near by. A 20 minute walk to the Brooklyn bridge.
The hotel was clean - staff at the counter very courteous and polite. Responded to all our questions promptly. They went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. Hotel has good wifi and facilities for printing any on-line tickets that you purchase. They also stored our luggage after checkout. Lafayette station is close by from where you can take the metro to Howard Beach station and then take the Airtrain to JFK terminals (Additional $5 charge). Brooklyn bridge is a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

within walking distance of ManhattenPosted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: great local area- plenty of great delis and cafes.Papa Johns too.
Cons: enough towels and glasses for a family of 4 in our room! A fridge would have been very useful too.
Location: we walked to Manhatten via the Brooklyn Bridge, metro stop close to hotel too.
Perfect for a family with teenagers. Great location and ample breakfast. Some staff friendlier than others, especially about having enough towels! We loved walking to Wall Street via Brooklyn Bridge. Only 1 and a half miles to Bridge. Lots of cool places close by that are off the hectic tourist route - Dumbo and Boerum Hill itself where hotel is.

Nice hotel, but noisy. Friendly staffPosted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, very helpful
Cons: Size of breakfast room
Location: Good location, nice restaurants and eating places nearby. Some shops nearby, easy access to subway.
Nice hotel for a couple of nights stay. Room was small for 3 of us, beds were small and one bed was broken. We were near the elevator and ice machine and so some noise. Buffet breakfast was good, plenty of food but the breakfast room was far too small for the amount of people. We had to queue for a table and it was difficult to move around to get food when it was busy. Friendly staff

Excellent Bargain Hotel For A Long Stay in NYCPosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Very Clean, Staff Was Very Helpful, Proximity to Subway, Good Price.
Cons: Sound Isolation from neighbors, and street noise that usually begins early morning.
Location: Dinosaur BBQ was an excellent restaurant, Prospect Park is nice, and Subway Barclays is very close.
Hotel overall was great, very clean, staff was excellent, basic amenities were okay. Very close to the subway station providing you with a cheap way to travel to NYC daily all under 20 minutes. Breakfast is included which is nice but it is a standard breakfast nothing special. The only issue I had was with the street noise starting at a very early hour in the morning being on a industrial street you may be sometimes woken by the street noise. Overall for the price we paid, the helpful staff, and very clean rooms I would recommend to anyone trying to travel to NYC who does not want to be in Manhattan.
