Nice hotel, good staffPosted Jul 28, 2015
The front desk guy is very nice (Justine). The food is good, we had a good breakfast. The room is okay although a little small if 4 people are staying maybe because of our luggages. But overall I will recommend this hotel...

Nice hotel in shady areaPosted Jul 20, 2015
Cons: The bathroom sink faucets are cumbersome and water is splashing out of the sink.
Location: Not much to do nearby other than rush to the subway station at Atlantic Avenue. Some nice eating places about 15 min walk down westward.
I spent two nights at Comfort Inn in July 2015. The staff there was friendly and courteous, and the checking in and out experience is quick and efficient. The hotel is very new, rooms are comfortable and at very reasonable rates. The stay at the hotel itself was pleasurable, but the neighborhood where it is located is not the nicest part of Brooklyn. If you don't mind walking down a couple of blocks that look almost like a third world zone (trash on streets, broken sidewalks, deserted warehouses, abandoned ruins, etc) then you will be fine.

Reasonable RatePosted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness inside.
Cons: The continental breakfast is nice, however it is a little chaotic with the setup.
Location: 10 min walk from subway and mall. There are many convenience stores and laundry places close by. Good dining and shopping local shops minutes away.
We stayed for one week. In comparison to hotels on the West coast the rooms were a bit small, however they were clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Only if you're desperate!Posted Jul 15, 2015
First room I had was next to the elevator, easlch time the elevator passed the bed shook. I moved rooms. Also in that toom tge desk chair was literally threadbare! The futniture was old and beaten up. the second room was first floor over the street and i got no sleep. This hotel is located in an industrial area of Brooklyn, so trah collection at 4am, people arguing on the street, not a good or safe neighborhood at night. Stay here out of desperation only.

Comfortable but needs fixings.Location a bit dodgyPosted Jul 13, 2015
Cons: Fix the small things that need fixing in the rooms.
Location: near the Barclays Centre. However, as mentioned, the immediate area surrounding the hotel is less than appealing.
A couple items in the room needed replacement (a chair's finishing was hanging in strips, and the door to the closet wouldn't shut). These things didn't bother us, but could be a sign of other issues in other rooms. The most important thing was that the room was comfortable, and although small, it was comfortable. I might stay here again, but I wouldn't be able to recommend this hotel to a friend due to the unappealing location of the hotel. Although the neighbourhood a few streets west was rather inviting, the immediate area surrounding the hotel was a bit disconcerting. We didn't run into any dodgy people around the hotel, but the street is dark, there's warehouse storage next to the hotel and also across the street - so it could be the type of place that appeals to less desirables. That's not the hotel's fault really. But I couldn't recommend this to anyone unless they had a car, and solid ability to deal with questionable areas.

Ganz okayPosted Jul 9, 2015

Convenient, clean, affordable.Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Included wifi, good TV, clean, close to Barclay's Center.
Cons: Fridge missing and room a little smallish.
Location: Entertainment, shopping, transportation, pubs, restaurants.
Nice enough hotel for the price. Our room was clean. Breakfast was good. You can walk to the Barclay's Center fairly easily, which has shopping and is a major subway station. Room was a little small and no fridge. But they had free wifi, good TV, and otherwise good facilities and staff.

The room was extremely small. No space for suitcasePosted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: Location. It was close to downtown.
Cons: Change bed size to allow space to walk around. A queen size bed is too big for this room.
Location: Nothing to do around.
Personnel was efficient but not enough room to walk around. This is a 1 person room.
