Convenient but would request different room/floor

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Location. Room seemed very clean.
Very convenient location as far as close to airport/rental car location. The room I was given was DIRECTLY across from the continental breakfast room - SO noisy at 5:30 in the morning while they were setting up for the day. After arriving in NY at 1am for a funeral; this was not a welcome experience. Very disappointed...This room should not even be given to a guest without at least informing them of the noise that would be experienced - especially at the rates charged.

Nice traveler's motel close to LaGuardia airport

Pros: Great palce to sleep close to LaGaurdia airport. Nice accommodations. Staff was very friendly & helpful.
Cons: See above
Location: See above
Complementary airport pickup to LaGuardia: they were quick when called, courteous & helpful. We arrived at 6:30 pm & were leaving at 4:00 am for a 6 am flight at LaGuardia the next morning. Hotel is 3/4 mile away from airport. All we were looking for is a place to sleep with a breakfast. Had a king bed which was very comfortable, not much walking around space in room, but we did not need it. Room was otherwise nice & comfortable & clean. Our hotel room was up to date in decor & amenities. Hotel looked to be the same. Hotel staff was wonderfully nice & helpful. We were going to miss breakfast so they provided us with a take out bag full of fruit, juice, pastry & water. Coffee was also available. Neighborhood seems okay but friends who are familiar with New York raised their eyebrows a little. Staff told us about eating places close by & helped us with getting pizza from a Dominoes who delivered. Great place if you are a traveler & just need sleeping accommodations near airport. Can't speak to anything else.

Excellent Staff

Pros: The hotel was good, room was just fine for my wife and I. We have stayed in much fancier hotels in better locations, but paid two to three times more.
Cons: It is an old building in an old neighborhood, but this is NY by the airport. Everything was good for us.
Location: Location was good for us since we needed to go back to the airport twice for the shuttle to the city. Food places were ok nearby as expected.
The hotel was great for our purposes, very close to the Laguardia airport and the transportation we needed for the weekend. The staff was especially helpful, the shuttle drivers took us to the near by resaraunt we wanted to go to and they also took as to the airport when we were ready rather than waiting for the scheduled time on the half hour. They have a sign up at the front desk so they knew there were not others for that ride. Very informative for how we could complete our travel plans to the city and to other destinations.

Comfortable hotel before more travel.

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Proximity to La Guardia, clean, working wi-fi
Cons: If you have your own car or a rental, parking is hard to find. Also, front desk associate had no idea about UPS pickups.
Location: Very close to airport (within a mile), some good, inexpensive restaurants close by.
I stayed at this hotel to be close to La Guardia for an early AM flight. I was trying to avoid the jet lag that would hit when I returned home from flying after a long day of meetings. For the most part, this hotel did exactly what I needed. I had some small issues with parking a rental before I returned it and the helpfulness of the AM desk associate, but minor in the grand scheme of things. For a comfortable place to rest before more traveling, this hotel does just fine.

Early flight to LaGuardia

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: Since we were leaving before 7 a.m. they provided a bag breakfast. If we had been there after 7 a.m. they provided a buffet breakfast.
The staff was extremely helpful with menus for restaurants in the near area that delivered as we did not want to venture out. The shuttle to the airport was right on time. All of the employees were great.

Reasonable price and near the airport.

Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: Very near the airport and free breakfast
When I arrived at 11:30PM, the staff was very welcome attitude. When I talked about my late arrival after the musical, I was told I must arrive before 11:45PM because of the room cancellation and reception close. Unfortunatelly my room was under ground beside of parking spot. We was a little afraid of the visible from the windows instead of curtain.
