The hotel uses polyester bedding. It created a problem with static when we were in the bed. This felt very uncomfortable. We reported the issue with the person on charge, and she merely told us to wash our hands. The static issue aside, the hotel is in a great location to see New York. It felt safe outside, too. The cleaning staff were amazing. Breakfast was weird, if you like powdered eggs and bread then you'll love it here. There is a Jesus loves you sign clearly visible from the eighth floor window, but it rained a lot when we were there, so I'm not sure he did. Central Park is easily accessible from the hotel, as is Broadway. The hotel is next to the Holiday Inn. But there's probably little to choose between them. I would definitely recommend the Comfort Inn. Apart from being electrocuted each night, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The staff made the difference! This was a nice standard unpretentious hotel. But the staff!! Every person i came in contact with gave a smile and warm welcome and even some good laughs. I dont worry about much when i just need a place to crash out, but the staff made the stay even more enjoyable.

The staff was super nice so it sucks that the hotel was not that nice, the room is fine just we found an m&m on the floor in our room, we didn’t eat or buy any… the shower was full of mold and I found a bug in the bathroom it grossed me out.

I was genuinely surprised on how much I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean for my standards; kind of reminds me of the rooms at a lot of Fairfield Marriott hotels — a bit old school, early 2000s vibe. That kind of thing. Heck yeah I’d stay again. But it is a little out of the way to public transport. Also, be sure to get the free breakfast early. I noticed they run out around 9am most days. If you don’t mind that, you can’t beat the price for the quality and location.

If you’re looking for a budget option within Manhattan that’s not too far from Times Square, this is great. Beds are comfy enough, safe area - definitely just meant for a place to stay when you’re not planning at being at the hotel much.

Staff was friendly but room attendants left something to be desired. Linens were stained when they remembered to leave any or were tattered. Room was barely cleaned. Breakfast was enough to fill a hole but they were very slow to replenish anything. Beds were not comfortable at all.

If you are looking for a cheap, safe place to rest your head this is the place. If you are looking for anything else, perhaps look elsewhere. The property has definitely seen some wear and tear. Our wall paper was coming off and the bathroom walls had black spots all over it. We stayed in a double room, which should never have been one. The hotel shoved 2 double bed into a room that would’ve been tight for just a king. There wasn’t even a chair to sit on, but they did manage to fit a fridge and microwave. There were only 5 clothing hangers attached to the tv console—no closet, wardrobe, or dresser. Becasue of the lack of a closet and dresser, we had to live out of our suitcases for a week; which made a cramped room even more so. I would not recommend leaving your luggage at the hotel either. We left out around 11 and came back around 5 to finally check in. They had us put our luggage in a hotel room, no dedicated luggage room, right off the lobby and then moved it while we were gone to just be in the middle of the lobby in the breakfast area. It did not sit well with me that they just moved our luggage. If you need to be close to Times Square, do yourself a favor and just spend a little more money for properties that are in better condition and much closer to the action.

Stayed here for 3 nights before my cruise. Super convenient walk to the port. Walking distance to Times Square. The room was SUPER small. And the hotel really needs a bigger breakfast area.

We stayed for one night before our cruise. Location is great! Can walk to the cruise pier and also Times Square. The room was tiny but fine to sleep one night. Breakfast was good but crowded and hard to find a place to sit. Front desk was friendly and helpful. We would stay again for one night before a cruise.

My room was clean and modern and the bed comfortable. But the room was so small, there was only a gap of about 12 inches between the foot of the bed and a wall unit! The bathroom was appallingly tiny, with only an inch between the toilet bowl and the door when opened. For almost $250 per night, I expect a much better and bigger room. I stayed three nights in a Comfort Inn in Nashville, where my room was far superior-- and much cheaper! The breakfast area located in a small lobby (for goodness sake!), had seating for no more than 30 guests. But the hotel had 80 bedrooms!! Outrageous. I've stayed in hotels all over the world but never had to go back to my room because all the breakfast seats were taken. This is probably one of the worst hotels I've had the misfortune to stay at. Breakfast options for vegetarians who don't eat eggs was very limited. A depressing experience.

Everything was ok and the breakfast was good but there was no wifi for 2/3 nights we stayed and we called the lobby and they said they would reset it but it never worked. It would also be nice if they had umbrellas to borrow when its rainy.

I love my stay at comfort inn, the staff were really kind i want to especially mention the front desk staff Rihanna and all the others made me feel so welcomed and loved. Its was my first time visiting NYC all the attraction's were close also access to busses. Sure recommendations!
