Nice for the Price

Check-in was a pleasant surprise... Staff VERY helpful & pleasant, which was just what we needed, as it was very late. Room was nice - bed comfy, etc. Air conditioner was kind of noisy, but neither of us mindful. Would be a great location if you're headed to or from airport - close without too much air noise.

Hotel location was little awkward and the first floor room with high windows was terrible.

Close to JFK

Sketchy neighborhood, next to zero lot parking ( meaning you park on the street in the sketchy neighborhood) dingy room not very clean, staff pretends not to hear you or speak English. Breakfast is self serv carbfest. But it's close to the airport and under 200.00

Clean room, but not a lot of parking

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Clean bed, lots of pillows, clean bathroom.
Location: Hard to find even with GPS. Had no plans to do any sightseeing - this was just for one overnight stay to pick someone up at JFK.
The location was off the beaten path - I got lost using GPS! The advertised parking was only a few spaces in the back and I had to park on the street. The neighborhood was very noisy - people in the street, loud trucks at 3:00am. The room itself was clean, but walls were thin - I could hear my neighbors all night. The air conditioner was very loud, probably to drown out the inside and outside noise. It was fine for what I needed - a clean place to sleep before picking someone up at the airport.

Cheap, dirty hotel.

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: The closest subway station was 5 block away.
There was no parking available in the hotel as stated, when we asked the front desk he said, it's only limited parking. We have to park on the street. Carpets were so dirty and sticky, room was dark with only 2 lamps. All broken things really really need an update. TV has limited channels. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Desk Staff very nice; kitchen woman not nice

Posted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: It was clean, and the people at check in were doing their job well.
Cons: Let people know that there is no parking at the hotel. We would have liked to be told that breakfast ended at 10 so we would not have missed it.
Location: No idea, this was just a place to rest.
We stayed here one night. The staff at night, around 11 PM, was very helpful, as we had found an iPhone outside on the street. The manager who was on then, 6/7/14, asked where exactly we found it, and I showed him, asked if we could leave it with the hotel, because someone would be missing it. He said he thought he knew whose phone it was; it was someone who we saw getting into a car in white wedding outfits. He thought it was his friend who just got married, so he called him (the phone was blocked so we couldn't get into it) and after some questions, it turned out to be his new wife's phone. We were very happy to have helped these strangers on their wedding night! I guess we were there for a reason, to get the iphone back to its owner. This kept us up late, trying to find the owner of the phone. When we came down in the AM, we didn't know that breakfast was over at 10, a half hour before. I asked if we could have something to eat, and the woman who was clearing the kitchen are was very uncooperative and refused to let us have something. I asked the mgr if we could have anything and we got some bread and coffee, but it was very unpleasant, that woman was mean. Also, we were not told beforehand that there was no parking at the hotel and we had to park on the street, we were not comfortable with that. Our room was very clean.
