“Comfort Inn rocks!”

After reviewing a LOT of NYC hotels online, we made our decision to stay at the Comfort Inn for our 20th wedding anniversary trip. It was a great decision! The Comfort Inn highly exceeded our expectations. It was our first visit to NYC, and many hotel reviews sort of worried us with stories of very tiny rooms, dirty, smelly, bed bugs, etc. None of this was found at the Comfort Inn! The room was good sized for the two of us, had a nice refrigerator and a comfortable bed. It wasn't super fancy but it was really nice. The breakfast was a very nice touch. There were a few choices, such as boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, bagels, bread, yogurt, fresh fruit and of course the fresh made waffles. It made starting the day easy, we'd grab some food and then start our tourist stuff without worry about the first meal. The hotel is well located just two blocks off Times Square. There are several restaurants and pubs very close by. Although NYC can be a noisy place, it wasn't overly loud in this neighborhood. Bus and subway stops are also very close. Central park was maybe half a mile, an easy walk on a nice day. Don't forget the awesome cookies when you check in! They also stored our bags after we checked out since our flight was a few hours after check out time. Great, helpful staff. Well done, Comfort Inn!

“great hotel for family”

Only problem with this hotel was that the bathroom had an unpleasant odor, although it was clean. Continental breakfast and staff were outstanding.

“Our Oasis in The Big Apple”

We arrived a bit early for our reservation, but were greeted with smiles and a set of room keys. My wife and I noticed immediately just how spotless the establishment was in the common areas. The room was just the right size and absolutely spotless. We stayed for several nights and enjoyed every time we walked back through the door of the hotel. The staff was helpful in suggesting restaurants in the area and always very friendly. If you are looking for a peaceful place to retreat to in the city that never sleeps The Comfort Inn Theatre District is your place. Four thumbs up.

“Great Hotel near Times Square”

We've stayed here twice now and this is a great, affordable hotel. Like all in NYC, the rooms are small but clean. Hotel staff is friendly and have let us check in early (11am) both times. Free breakfast with bacon, eggs, waffles, fruit, and cereal is great and saves money. Location is excellent (44th St. between 8th and 9th Ave) with easy access to subway at 44th and 8th. This entrance leads to 42nd St / Times Sqaure station where connections to other lines is very easy. Higher recommend this hotel for people looking for clean, affordable accommodations.

“Great location and service.”

This was our first time in New York and our stay at the Comfort Inn Theater District was excellent. Not knowing the area, the location was great. The hotel was close walking distance to time square, Bryant Park, Central park and Rockefeller Center. Although the room was small, it served its purpose since we spent most of our time out in the city. After walking and riding the bus all day, the bed was great and very comfortable. The breakfast had lots of variety and very tasty. We plan to stay there on our next trip.

“Perfect!”

Perfect location - only a couple blocks from Times Square but the hotel is kinda tucked back in a side street with barely any noise. Staff is very friendly, rooms were clean... Don't have any complaints. Every time I go back to NYC, this will definitely be my go-to place to stay!

“Great location in NYC”

The location was great for what we wanted to do in NYC--see the shows and eat great food. We could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go and there is also a subway station close by. The room was small, but average for NYC, very clean, and despite the fact that we were right next to the elevator it was quiet--didn't hear much noise from other rooms, water running, footsteps, etc. The included breakfast is good but often too crowded so we took our food upstairs. There is only one elevator and it can be extremely slow at peak times- plan to take the stairs, it's faster. Staff is very helpful, friendly and polite.
