Well located hotel for the price

Posted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: Location, breakfast, close parking, wifi, two double beds. Facilities are completely adequate.
Cons: I think they replaced the room lights with LEDs that seem too bluish, making the room feel antiseptic.
Location: Two minutes to Times Square, one minutes to hell's kitchen. Close to many Broadway theaters.
Sure there are fancier hotels in Manhattan. However, at this price I find the hotel well located, friendly, has rooms with two double beds (critical to us as we travel as a family), comes with a free breakfast and wifi. There are parking facilities across the street (you get a discount from the hotel). Consequently, this has been my hotel of choice in Manhattan for family trips for several years now.

It was too cold when I got in the my room.. The heater was off, so I waited for almost an hour until the room temperature got 72 degree on F. It was really cold.

Excellent staff

Posted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: Close to everything and plenty to choose, staff are outstanding, coffee facility is around the clock nonstop and the coffee is of good quality.
Cons: The mattress, it is too soft at the edge, you'll easily fall down if you sleep too close to the edge.
Location: Transportation, entertainment, eatery and shopping is very close by, basically just starting from next door to less than 10 mins walking distance.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Niti and Vibuthi, they were superb. Location close to all amenities-walking distance, public transport is close by, eatery-plenty to choose, entertainment-very close and plenty to choose, shopping-nearby, just name it, all are within less than 10 mins walking.

Basic hotel but clean and functional

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: Location was a real strong selling point. Two blocks from times square.
Cons: Proper plates and cutlery for breakfast
Location: Its the centre of NYC. The world is your oyster.
I stayed here due to the price and the location. It is OK if you require a room and are not to fussed on the standard. It is basic but only two blocks from Times square compared to the price is the real seller. Yes there are more salubrious hotels in the area but they are a lot more expensive. The hotel offers good value for money. (Just be prepared for the polystyrene plates and bowls for breakfast!)
