“Just fine and I may do it again”

To help in planning your trip: The hotel is in an industrial area not far by bus from NYC. The service was fine, the room was clean and very comfortable and there was no smoke smell in the room. It was quiet outside at night so we slept well. Parking is FREE at the hotel, so we asked the clerk where to catch the bus into NY-- the stop is two blocks down the street and six blocks up a steep hill and cost three dollars. In an evening weekday rush hour, the ride to the NY Port Authority station (close to the Theatre District) was 40 minutes because of heavy backup at the Lincoln tunnel. After seeing a show, we walked downtown a few blocks back to the station and waited about an hour for the next bus at 12:40 a.m. and the trip was 20 minutes. It was better than paying twice as much for a less comfortable room and over thirty dollars a day for parking.

None of the towels were clean! All of the towels had some type of stain. I also found a cockroach! need to say more?

“Never again at this Hotel”

As we checked in the guy at the front desk was not friendly at all.....could not understand what he was saying. He gave us a room in which the bed was not made and with my family I had to wait outside the room to get another room allocated. The guy (at the front desk) who came up was not at all sorry about what happened, he was trying to defend himself by saying it was not his fault. He then gave us another room on another floor without even asking us if that was OK and did not even wait for us to take the elevator but instead took it himself and went away. We walked into the room (on the next floor) to find out that the room that we received was smaller and not the one that we had originally booked. Breakfast was awful.....the muffins powdered when I tried to break. Bananas were dark brown, everything was stale and never replaced during our stay. I am sure the local health department would have a field day visitng this facility. I am not sure if this is a franchise but if it is I would really like Choice Hotels to go pay a surprise visit to this facility and check out if the facility and the staff meet their standards..........a bad experience and never will I go back to that hotel chain at all.

Hotel is clean, breakfast was okay. Some wear and tear is showing, but that was pretty minor. Staff was very pleasant and accomodating.

good service they even have bathroom kit if you forget to bring your own.

Clean and nice enough with a good breakfast. But if you want to be connected, the wireless only works in the foyer and the wired did not work for me. Chair falling apart in room and area not so nice but fine a as transition stop

“Do not recommend”

Phone was not working for the full week, even if they said every morning that is fixed. By the end I understood will never happen, and I question if that happens to other visitors as well. Most of material in the fitness room was broken and they said will not be repaired.

“Stay away”

These are not suites so don't be misled by the name....we had a small room, small even by NYC standards. The walls were paper thin, you could hear everything. The thermostat was broken. Bathroom tiles were missing. Mgt told us twice they'd get us a different room, but never did. None of the vending machines worked. One was broken, one just returned money to the coin box, and one dropped mountain dew when you pressed water. Management didn't seem to believe it or care. The lobby looks nice, but behind that is a poorly run ramshackle motel.
