Excellent NYC location and great staff!

Posted Aug 19, 2014
An excellent place to stay! The staff are, to the last one, as good as you'll find! They are genuinely friendly, nice and incredibly well informed about the operations of the hotel. The only drawback for me was the limited equipment in the workout room,

Excellent.

Pros: Everything- room comfort, in-room amenities, cleanliness.
Cons: The restaurant service was terrible and the food was overpriced, but welcome to NYC!
Location: Battery Park has everything for all age groups and abilities. The 911 Memorial is nearby.
I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. The rooms are extremely comfortable and luxurious for the price.

Fun neighborhood

Posted Aug 17, 2014
We had never stayed in Tribeca before, and this gave us a chance to explore the neighborhood. Directly across from the Irish Hunger Memorial (who knew one existed?), and a few steps further to the ferries. Many walking/riding paths. This is a converted, upgraded Embassy Suites, so knowing you'll have a suite is a plus. The modern, swinging glass doors to bathroom and shower mean that sounds are not completely muted. So be comfortable with intimate surroundings. The beds are low, but comfortable. Hilton did not cut corners in this renovation. Walking distance to the 9/11 site and Memorial. Walking distance to subway, buses. Some of the staff are very helpful. The rooftop bar is great in the afternoon. It's too crowded and loud at night.

Outstanding.

Location: The location in Battery Park was perfect. We also enjoyed the local restaurants near the building.
I left a hand written note, with my name and e-mail attached when we checked out Sunday. Our stay was for my wife's 40th birthday. That was the first time we'd ever stayed at a Conrad hotel. We found out about it through Expedia. She has had literally dozens of visits to the city and that was hands down one of the best. The service was beyond top notch. Felix the bellhop took it upon himself to deliver a bottle of champaign and chocolate covered cherries to our room on my wife's birthday Saturday. That absolutely made our trip. We'll tell everyone we know, and will definitely be back to not only that Conrad, but other Conrads.

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff! Loved it.

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Spacious, quiet and very user friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing.
Area is relatively quiet for New York City. Located just blocks from the water front and the 9-11 memorial, St. Paul's, etc. Staff was incredibly helpful, esp. Liz at the front desk. She provided maps, restaurant suggestions and gave us the type of room we wanted. Would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding!

Pros: Spacious suites & sliding partitions. Great view of the Hudson.
Cons: Had no idea to access the bar fridge after the second day; even with an access card.
Location: Again, a must-to-see the 911 Museum; walking into Brooklyn via the Brooklyn Bridge & catching a sunset river cruise just at the base of the Conrad.
Though off the beaten track, the hotel was outstanding. Spacious suites; close to all amenities, attentive staff and best of all a fine leisurely walk to the Brooklyn Bridge. Restaurants of note - Bubby's for breakfast, a picnic lunch from Whole Foods & the Bluesmoke for dinner on their patio. As well very close to the 911 Memorial ( recommend booking in advance on-line ~ 24ec).
