Nettes Hotel in der nähe von einer Bahnstation

Posted May 28, 2015

Reasonably priced and close to subway access.

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Price and proximity to subway. Very quiet.
Cons: Improve the WiFi coverage.
Location: Surrounding neighborhood was a little sketchy, but we felt safe walking to and from subway.
This hotel was reasonably priced and close to subway access. Our room was clean and very quiet. Bed was rather hard. Breakfast was average. WiFi was terrible and inaccessible most of the time.

Bad experience

Posted May 8, 2015
Paid extra for city view, was put on the 4th floor not high enough up to see over the building next door so I couldn't see the city. Mirror in our room was smashed and put together with duct tape. Area around the hotel is a little sketchy after dark. Continental breakfast was awful.

It's the worst hotel I've met.

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: We are totally unsatisfactory with this hotel.
Cons: I just want my money can be returned back.
Location: Don't choose this hotel.
I booked this hotel on 1/6/2015 from Expedia for this April's trip .There are hundreds hotels for me to choose, but I picked up this hotel. We lived in Los Angeles,so not familiar with NY city. 4/4,our flight was delayed for 5 hours ,and spent a lot of time to find this place. Therefore, when we arrived this hotel was around 4 AM.But,when I checked in ,their staff gave me #408--three bed room instead of my original order--2 queen guest room.I asked to change back to my original order, they told me that my original room the shower doesn't work........Anyway,at last, when I went to bed almost 5:30 AM.(We checked out at 9:00 AM) Can you imagine how angry we were!!Their service was the worst I ever met.Our families always travelled all over the world,I never met such situation! This hotel supposed to prepare everything well to wait for our coming, not ask their customer to be responsible for their bad equipment. Even we came back from NY over two weeks, I still felt been cheated.

Huge disappointment

Posted Apr 6, 2015
I recently book this hotel for a romantic evening with my boyfriend. I had high expectations for this hotel but that changed once we arrived and got stuck in the elevator. Whatever, after the elevator began working again we were relieved to come to a room with a jacuzzi how relaxing right? Well not exactly we were told it was a two people whirlpool but me and my boyfriend could not fit inside together and the jets in the whirlpool didn't work. Aside from that the arm chair next to the bed was broke and the complimentary breakfast was cold and taste-less. The only positive was that the room was clean.

Its okay to sleep in

Posted Apr 4, 2015
Staff needs to change. I have stayed at many hotels/motels, from 4 stars to a pension. However the place is kind of dry. Check in staff seems like they would rather be anywhere than there. they barely make eye contact and every breath is a judgement. I wont return.

Overall this place is acceptable

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Location: Very close to subway station!
The staff was nice and helpful but the room needs to be more clean. The toilet couldn't flush the first day we stayed; it was embarrassing but it was fixed very quickly by their room keeper. The breakfast area is too small.

Dungeon

I arrived to find out that my room was on the C level which is short for Cellar. Okay, we are in NY. I take the elevator down only to step out in 20 degree weather. I guess they don't turn the heat on in the cellar. Get to the room and I'm greeting by a stain on the carpet, it's prob been there since they opened. A jacuzzi tub planted right in the room. The only problem is when you turn the water on in this room the water runs brown. I got my stuff and left. Wasn't going to even entertain the idea of getting another room here. Did I mention they have about 10 parking spaces right out front but will not let their guest park in the spaces. They said its cause we don't have a parking license. Get one! Is it too inconvenient? Or expensive? They sure charge a premium. They should have the cash to accommodate guest correctly. I mean, it is their business. Would highly recommend you stay somewhere else. Maybe it's where they put all their Expedia guest's???
