High quality experience

Pros: Location, spacious and quiet.
Cons: Nothing I could think of
The room was spacious, clean and left nothing to be desired. The location was awesome, i.e. close to airport and car rental. View did not matter at all since I lived in the NYC area for 50 years, and know from experience a great view is very, very expensive and not worth the cost.

The location was good and the room was large and comfortable. We were disappointed that the staff refused to call us a cab.

hotel at airport

Pros: Not a lot. It was sort of there.
Cons: Remodel. Make sure the locks on the door work; it needs to be cleaned up.
Location: It's by the airport and for airport stays.
Basic hotel set up, nothing special, lackluster food, unattentive staff. Had to pry information from them as opposed to them volunteering it. Things such as: mealtime and where the shuttle would pick up and the shuttle schedule. They should proactively communicate those things. I wasn't asking what time tea time or the massage was;-) Just basics.

pool was inaccessible

the hotel is fine, but if you are staying in summer and want to use the outdoor pool, forget about it. The hotel rents the pool out for events. When we were there, the pool was inaccessible the entire afternoon of our stay from 2:30 until 8:15. Then they closed the pool after the event so they told us we couldn't swim; so, basically, they don't have a pool for hotel guests. Don't advertise a pool when the hotel guests can't actually use it. Don't charge me $250 then also have non-hotel-guests paying you to rent the pool, which your own hotel guests have already paid for. My son was very disappointed to not be able to swim.

Best place to stay at La Guardian Airport

The hotel is clean and up to date. Has a warm, efficient and up to date feeling as soon as you walk in the door. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful - they recommended a place for dinner (hotel does have dining facilities but they are not the greatest) . They have many close by restaurants, as well as a varied selection of takeout menus at the front desk, and the hotel shuttle will take you there and bring you back to the hotel ( or pick up your food for you). The bar is friendly and has big rest service. It impressed us that the hotel managers were highly visible, both morning and night - they introduced themselves and were as helpful - without being asked - as the rest of their staff. Clearly, the folks at this hotel know the meaning of Customer Service!

Perfect!

Needed a bus to get to subway but the neighborhood was beautiful. Cultural focused area. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel

Pros: Everything
Cons: The management should reconsider the cost of the parking. I think the parking is to expensive: $24 for one night is too much.
Location: Location is ok. But there I'd nothing attractive whiting walking distance.
I was only there for one. I had good impression about the hotel

The hotel was very nice. The staff was fantastic, especially Agatha at the front desk. The only real downside was it was somewhat muggy in the lobby and the room and I could not get the air to adjust. Other than that, great stay for a great price.
