Excellent location

Pros: Location, staff
Cons: Floor could have been cleaner
Location: Upper westside -- shopping, arts
Nice Courteous staff very helpful when needed. Elevators were small but accessible

Beware! Booking through Expedia ( third party) there's a possibility that you may not get the exact room you are looking for. For example. I booked a hotel at NYC Days Inn and select a double bed standard room. And got a queen sized standard room for two people.

Clean New York hotel

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: clean, quiet, air-conditioning
Cons: elevator slow and small, not really adequate in the morning - lots of people and luggage
Location: New York city
Very disappointed that they did not adhere to the terms and conditions of no payment or charge before arriving - they put a charge against my credit card which blocked my credit. Although the clerk said that the charge had been released, it is still effective more than 10 days later. NOT GOOD. The response from the clerk was that this was their normal practice, regardless of the T&C stated by Expedia. Other than that, the hotel was as expected.

Nice enough hotel in a very convenient location.

Spent threee hectic days in New York and loved it. We used Days Inn at Broadway only as a place to collapse at the end of each day and it served the purpose admirably.

Stayed here for a month, had no real choice. Everything is old and dirty. Rooms only get partially cleaned everyday ( or at least not cleaned well each day). The ice machine is on the 9th floor and is in horrendous condition. The carpet in front of the ice machine is often wet as a result of poor drainage. Capet throughout is torn ragged and dirty. I tried not to touch the carpet in my room (even with bare feet)

Clean and Staff Friendly

it was a very clean stay....although the sofa sleeper was broken, the rest was fine...would recommend as a clean friendly hotel to stay at the right price for New York City.

Cons: Room space and some renovation, kind of old.
Hotel was okay but the best thing is it is close to subway going to the city's attractions.also a lot of restaurants around, the chinese -spanish testaurant had superb food and the corner cafe across the hotel was great, opens early and closes late.staff were great!
