Convenient close to bus route and subwayPosted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: Breakfast, location
Cons: Stop offering smoking rooms!
Location: Location great, close to DUMBO, waterfront, subway to take you to Manhattan in minutes.
Only stayed 2 days of the 4 I was supposed to stay, but they had a lovely breakfast. There was a couple that was arguing the whole 2 days I was there, but that's not hotels problem I suppose. I took a smoking room as a smoker, but personally think they should stop offering smoking rooms, made the whole floor stink, and the rooms were stuffy.

Good location, but the hotel is a bit sketchyPosted Jan 5, 2015
There were some upsides that it is close to the subway and a decent ride into the city. It was a standard breakfast. Our room was clean, but very very small. We did not get any internet in our room at all. Also, the hotel smelled like pot for most of our stay, which we did not appreciate.

More or less satisfactory place in BrooklynPosted Jan 2, 2015
A very mediocre accommodation. Plusses include free parking, close walk to subway with express train stop, and free breakfast. Minuses include facilities that are aesthetically dated, a leaky bathroom faucet, and a staff that seem to suffer from ennui. Overpriced for location and state of facilities.

served the purposePosted Nov 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
I surprised my partner with a visit to the city with a show and an overnight stay. The neighborhood doesn't look like its the greatest but we had no issues walking to and from the subway which is just around the corner! No more then a 30 min ride to times square and you only have to hop on one train, anyone can do it! Hotel hada strong pinesol smell to it but clean overall. Pillows were a bit strange and blanket on the light side. If my girlfriend didn't bring our own pillows and blanket I might not have been as comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Room was a but small for the amount of furniture. Only stayed one night needed a place to sleep. This hotel is perfect if you aren't looking for luxury but convenience. Will be staying here again.

Very friendly staff, clean room and conveniently located for our purpose. Decent breakfast spread and free parking. Worth every penny. Would definitely stay again.

Retreating for the eveningPosted Nov 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was relatively small. The mini fridge was on the floor near the door. The comforter had cigarette burns ecen though it was a non-smoking room. The bathroom smelled like cigarettes but the front desk sent someone to deodorize it. I had to park 2 blocks away bc there was no parking available. Overall, it was a decent stay. It served its purpose to just get away from everyday stress.
