Convenient stay near JFK

Posted Jan 27, 2015
The hotel was exactly what we were after. Free shuttle from and to JFK, simple breakfast, nearby delivery food (chinese was good), clean room, helpful staff and relatively good price (for NY anyway).

It was an OK hotel

Posted Jan 26, 2015
It's not great as it is cheaper than other hotels in the same area, but hotel shuttle runs every an hour and a half, so I ended up taking taxis to the airport. The breakfast bar is not very pleasing. The room itself was good and comfortable, but overall I wasn't satisfied with my stay.

Worse shower ever!

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Good and helpful staff. Good location! They put me in a noise room just in front of the reception! I asked them to change and the only rooms they had were smoking rooms! Also not a good shower too!

Nothing fancy but very convenient if you're only staying a night and want to be near JFK airport. Staff was polite and helpful. Loved the free shuttle.

Good value

I booked here because it's near the airport and I was arriving late. I had booked the rest of my stay in NY at a hotel in Manhattan. Days Inn was MUCH nicer and MUCH more comfortable.

Excellent value

We┬┤ve stayed in a lot of small chain hotels when we are in transit between airports. This one exceeded our expectations. The rooms are very small, but confortables and very clean. The hotel facilities, in general, are in excellent condition, and the staff very friendly and kind. Has free wi-fi, and free shuttles that, although they say take you to the airport, really they take you to the Airtrain which connects with the terminals, so take that into consideration if you have a plane to catch in JFK. Overall, very pleased with this one.

Terrible Hotel

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: no way I'm back there
The hotel don't have enough parking stalls, I have to park in a street at front of the hotel in a unpaved area, because that I had a flat tire on Christmas Eve (I was 2 hours in the cold waiting for road assistance) the rooms are small, I had a complementary breakfast ... I used only 2 of 7 times the breakfast ... and those only 2 times at 9:15 there wasn't breakfast (breakfast is from 6am to 10am) ... the was running out of omelets (eggs with cheese) and not orange juice .... really bad experience.

Exactly what I wanted

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: I liked almost everything about it. It is not a posh hotel but it serves it purpose
Cons: The bus shuttle service can be more strict with their timings
Location: I honestly saw nothing nearby but it is just a 5 min drive from the airport terminal which is convenient after travelling for hours.
The hotel was exactly what I wanted; close, clean, comfortable and convenient. I arrived midday and need to get something to eat, the receptionist provided several take-out menus that deliver for free to the hotel. I had an early morning flight out, the breakfast starts at 5AM which I found very convenient to get a bite before I left. The bus shuttle service was a bit tardy and upon arriving into jfk, I had to wait a while (like 20 mins) in the cold but I guess that should have been expected. Room was small and taken over by the bed, but I just needed someplace to rest. Bathroom and everything was clean. I appreciated that.
