Perfect airport location

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Location, very friendly staff, convenient airport shuttle
Cons: the carpet was dirty
Location: Terrible location / except it was right by the airport
We stayed one night to catch an early flight. The neighborhood was not great--you defintiely do not want to walk around by yourself but the staff was very helpful and friendly and we were able to get food delivered.

Location is horrible with nothing nearby to visit

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness of Bathroom.
Cons: Variety of breakfast items offered and seating accomodation for same. Also shuttle service to some nearby shopping area as there is nothing nearby
Location: Absolutely nothing, in the middle of no where!
Accomodation was sufficient for pricings and requirement IF just to sleep. The room is just a bit too cramped. However room and accessories was quite clean. Walls and doors are thin so noise is easily transfered into room. The breakfast is absolute minimal, better it was not offered. Some employees did not speak english and could not attend to our needs. A bit of organisation can improve service.

all as we had hoped after a long journey, good clean accommodation at a good rate that allowed us to get in to NYC easily the following day

Close to JFK

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Only had 1night here but was comfortable. The rooms are small so wouldn't want to many nights. Had a fridge for my medication which is something I require. Small area for breakfast & had to move on as soon as we'd eaten to allow others to come in. As I say though for 1 night or 2 it's fine.

Pleasant hotel 5 minutes from JFK

Posted Jun 17, 2014
With free hourly shuttle service to JFK (5 min. away), clean with the usual amenities including a safe, coffee maker, flat screen tv, free wi-fi, free breakfast with make-your-own fresh waffles, and a nice lobby amenity: free newspapers, cucumber water and pretty good chocolate chip cookies, plus 24-hour free coffee/tea, it's an ideal place to pass your overnight layover. One drawback: you have to take a cab to find a decent place to eat...for instance, the taxi to Green Acres shopping mall with several reputable restaurants and a food court is $18 each way plus tip.

Close to the airport but quite run down

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: The bathroom was OK.
Cons: The general condition of the furnishings, the noisy A/C and ice machine.
Location: There's nothing to do here - it's on the highway. It's great for the airport.
This hotel is in a group of four close to the airport but that's its only real asset. The staff were pleasant but the place is quite run down. The carpets are worn and dirty-looking, the room had a strange damp smell. It was a semi-basement and close to the ice machine which made a noise all night. The bathroom was OK and there was a coffee machine and the bed was large and reasonably comfortable. The shuttle only runs hourly and came late. It was so overcrowded that it was full with people standing. On the whole I've decided to pay more and get something a bit better, even when only sleeping over.

Poor hotel!

Posted May 25, 2014
If you can find a park bench to sleep on, take it instead of this motel. We are travelling the US from Maine to New Orleans and Nashville. All other Days Inn we have used are gtreat, up to there usual good standard. I know any motel close to a major airport will suffer with some noise, but this place was awful. Small room, grubby overall although the bedsheets were clean. The recommended take out delivery was really bad, late and cold. I appreciate this is not Days Inn fault but it just summed up the place. DON'T GO< PEOPLE.....spend $52 and go into NYC instead.

Basic accommodations for business or tourists

Posted May 11, 2014
Pros: Basic, clean, breakfast
Cons: Soundproofing because it's quite close to the Belt Parkway.
Location: Close to JFK airport and accessible to Brooklyn.
Pleasant enough, basic. Access was a little challenging as you can only get to it from South Conduit Avenue so do your homework ahead of time.

Great service! Clean rooms! Quiet small hotel!

Posted May 7, 2014
King bed room was a great size room, one day we tried a queen room a lot smaller, but very clean and new remodeled rooms. Staff is very pleasant and helpful.
