Its a old Motel, need to refresh but the towels and sheats are cleans, never go there during the summer because alls outsides doors have a big space and the air come inside and during the summer I thing the little animals came in. I was there February 28, 2014. But the price is very good.

getting ripped off in NewarkPosted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: Nothing, it was filthy inside and out and the employees were unable to accomplish even the smallest task.
Cons: Everything, from the outside parking lot full of trash to the inside of the sad little room, to the canopy that just crumbled while we were away.
Location: Newark were all you can do is stay in your room, the Pizza man took and hour and several phone calls to find us, if that tells you anything.
Day's Inn should be ashamed to have their logo on the outside of this dump.We stayed the Friday before Super Bowl, and were charged double what the room usually costs We also paid for long term parking . When we returned they had our car plowed in and blocked in. Eventually they sent someone to help dig us out, but did not ask the person who blocked us in to move her car which was registered and would have been easy to do. Thankfully a friend of hers saw our dilemma and went and got her and she was gracious enough to move her car. Obviously we will never stay at this Days Inn Newark again, and advise the same for any one traveling.

DO NOT go to this hotel.Posted Feb 24, 2014
Cons: Clean and update the entire hotel. Do not have trash in the walkways. New furniture. Replace ceiling tiles. Put light bulbs in.
The outside of the hotel is old, unkept and trash everywhere. We have to go up this small metal staircase with our luggage and there was trash around the outside walkway. When we got to our room the door was open with no one inside. The ceiling tiles were the cardboard ones like you find in a school building and some were falling down and they were stained. Many of the light fixtures didn't even have light bulbs in them and the ones that did have bulbs a few were burnt out. The furniture was pretty beat up. I had my two kids with me and we didn't stay in the room more than 5-10 minutes. We went immediatley back to the front desk and checked out. We went back to the airport and found another hotel. I have stayed at many Days Inn and never had such a bad experience. I don't have to stay at the finest hotels, but I do want to feel safe and clean and I did not at this hotel.

Hotel HorrorPosted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: The staff for the airport transport.
Cons: Clean Towels
Location: The location was very close to the airport. Which maid it a lot easier to commute to New York.
On arrival to the hotel, we were booking in and one of the members of staff said we didn't have a booking, We didn't find this funny as been travelling to Newark for over 7.5 hours. once booked in we went to the room, It was very cold and damp, especially on the celling. The towels were also not very clean. The breakfast was a bit rubbish it was only an apple and cinnamon cake bar, with an apple and a fruit juice. The hotel transportation to and from the airport was good. the Drivers were really friendly, they were meant to run every half hour expect one day we were stood at the airport for an hour to get the car back to the hotel. This hotel want too noisy considering we were very close to the airport.

One of the worst hotel experiences i ever had.Posted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: nothing was horrible
Cons: management, hotel cleaning staff, invest money in the overall aspect of the hotel
The overall experience was very bad. Let me start by saying it was a lot of snow in the parking lot, cars parked all over the place. I had to get out of my car and i asked someone to move so i can even get into the hotel parking area. When overall aspect of the office was horrible, dirty floors, dirty counter, trash all over the place. When i finally got the room key it took me another 10 minutes to navigate from the office to the parking lot in the rear, due to the fact they didn't plow the snow in the parking lot. The room was dirty, and with a bad odor, signs of smoking room, hole in the walls, and rust in the door area, bathroom and sink. The carpet felt wet and had a very bad odor to it. I decided to stay because they told me they was no refund. The parking situation was very bad, i was blocked in by couple cars, and they clal my room at 6 am to move my car.
