Great location.Posted Dec 18, 2014
2 blocks away from Times Square. Staff very friendly and helpful. Chocolates left in room every day and a brownie on the first day. Safe in the room, tv, hairdryer. New york is very noisy and is the city thay doesnt sleep. We bought some earplugs to block out noise of car horns and general city noise. You would get this with any hotel in midtown though.

Great hotel close to Times SquarePosted Dec 17, 2014
Cons: Nothing, keep doing what they are doing!
Location: Across from the Port Authority, Times Square, Chelsea, Hells Kitchen, Subway, Rockefeller Square, Theater District
The Distrikt Hotel is an excellent place to stay when visiting NYC. It is within a short distance to Times Square, Hells Kitchen(great restaurants!), Chelsea and the subway. The staff are so eager to help and very friendly. The rooms are a nice size and very clean. Service is amazing!

Nice hotel in great locationPosted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: Location and cost
Cons: Bar staff could be better
The stay at the Distrikt hotel was excellent. We were close to all the main attractions and the staff were always on hand to help out. The room was a good size and well equipped for what you need (my partner even complimented the haridryer!!). One night we stopped at the hotel bar and the staff on the night were a little off which was in contrast to everyone else we encountered during the visit. Shame but overall very good. Only comment is leave enought time if you book one of their private cars to the airport. We left plenty of time to get to JFK but the taxi driver took over 2 hours and we went round in circles a bit. Still made our flight so we seen the funny side but could have been quite different.

Great hotel - 5 mins walk from Times Square!Posted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: Staff, Location, Ammenties, Cleanliness, Comfort.
Cons: There are one or two hotel builds going on (one next door) but noise wasn't too intrusive. Not the hotel's fault but one to contemplate for now.
Location: Times Square and Broadway are a couple of minutes walk. All buses / sub lines are easily accessible. Brilliant!
This is a great hotel. Staff are always courteous, make you feel very welcome and are always happy to help. They pointed out where all the useful places of interest were to us within 5 minutes of our arrival which was incredibly useful to two newbies to New York such as ourselves. Rooms are spacious, clean and very upmarket. Beds are huge and very comfortable. We had a well stocked mini bar, tea and coffee machine which was always restocked every day and room service was excellent. There was also a room safe which was free to use, a large flat-screen TV on the wall and chocolates and weather updates left out for our return at the end of each and every day. The shower and bathroom as a whole was very spacious and enjoyable. Each room has its own air conditioning which is easily controlled and very effective. On the days it rained the porter offered us a free umbrella to take out which was a lovely touch! The hotel is literally two minutes away from all local bus and subway lines and it's a 5 minute wander to Times Square and Broadway. It's bang in the centre of Manhattan Island and makes it really easy to get around to where you need to be. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and I will certainly be returning next year!

Good location close to Times Square and subway.Posted Dec 16, 2014
As soon as we arrived the staff were brilliant. Pointed out all the best locations on the map and were very approachable. The hotel was nice and clean and in a very good location to get around. We did a lot of walking and used the subway both easy enough. Brilliant stay 6 nights more than enough time.

Great NYC experiencePosted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: The staff was so helpful ( Francis) and friendly. The nice sized room was very clean with comfortable beds. The snacks and hot chocolate were great!
Cons: The glass partition in the tub seemed less then ideal when taking a shower and there were no safety bars.
Location: The hotel is very close to Times Square, the theaters & subway. There is only about one block that is seedy but we, two ladies, felt safe walking.
We were two senior ladies in NYC for some theater & sightseeing. Our first time experience at the Distrikt Hotel was wonderful. From check-in to check-out our experience was great. We were treated so nicely and really felt safe.

Nice Hotel and Good LocationPosted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: The Hotel is in a great position for all the major activities, even those further afield can be reached by the subway at the end of the block.
Location: Close to all places of interest could not be bettered.
Just got back from a short break in NYC. The only thing I would change, if I could, was the weather, otherwise a great break. The staff at the hotel were great. Nothing was to much trouble. Though missing some of the fancy things you may get at larger hotels, this hotel had everything you would need to make your break memorable. Once the hotel staff found out that the trip was my wife's birthday treat, they left a very nice hand written card on our bed along with a little sweet treat, which made her day. A lovely thought that meant a lot, and something that would be missing if you were just a room number in some of the larger hotels.
