Convienient location.Posted Oct 21, 2014
Very clean room, friendly staff. A couple of blocks from Times Square. Great view of midtown from my room on the upper levels. Quiet at night but a lot of noise and construction during the morning from building site next door. Hotel is on a seedy, grimy street across from Port Authority. But didn't feel Unsafe at night walking back to the hotel. Along 9th avenue, some great places to eat. A convenient location.

Fantastic hotel (don't tell anyone !!)Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: Friendliness of staff and their cheerful disposition from the receptionists to the cleaners !
Cons: A little more storage in the room would be great.
Location: New York are you kidding.....everything.....not enough space here the box is not big enough !!!!!!
What can I say, brilliant hotel located five minutes from Times Square does not cover it or do it justice , staff so helpful and nothing was a problem. room was surprisingly big with two double beds we had a grand view room on the 30th floor, if you looked out the window to the left Hudson River to the right Times Square which was overshadowed by The Empire State Building.

Fantastic hotelPosted Oct 14, 2014
Arrived at the hotel on 3 October 2014 to find a wonderful welcome. The staff are very friendly, the rooms very clean close to all amenities. Peter knows how to run a hotel. Hoping to visit next year and see Dennis the porter. He made our stay along with Adrian. Thanks for a wonderful stay and hope to see you next year x

Great LocationPosted Oct 14, 2014
I thought the room was a bit small, no fan in bathroom and shower head could've been adjusted for more comfort for all... but other than that great location, great hotel staff enjoyed NY and would stay again

Great Hotel!Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Staff Service Free WiFi Refreshments
Cons: The location
Location: Hell's Kitchen is near by running down 9th ave. Times Square is also pretty close.
This hotel is spectacular, there's nothing not to like about this place--except the location. For some, it may be prime, but for my boyfriend and I it was a bit of an inconvenience. The staff and service is great. Anything we needed they were able to supply if for us. There were refreshments out for visitors, cucumber water and peach iced tea to be exact. In the lobby, there are computers for use to handle business. It's a very small area, but convenient and efficient. The rooms are very nice and clean. I always check the room for impurities and I found none. You are able to use the wi-fi from the rooms, which is great. Overall, this hotel is a gem. Low-key, small and very nice. If you're fine with the location (near between Hell's Kitchen and Times Square, the west side of the island) then this hotel is perfect for you. It's so sad because I really like this hotel, just out of my way.

Clean, modern with a great location.Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness, modern decor, front desk staff
Cons: Elevator issues (common to all similar properties), restaurant service and menu variety
Location: Close to subway lines, Port Authority, short walk to Times Square area and Hell's Kitchen restaurants
Stayed 7 nights between September and October. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful throughout the stay - special mention for Nesha. We had a king size bed room on the 22nd floor. Adequate space - I've heard many rooms are small in New York but this is the only place I have stayed. Bathroom was snug but had a 5' wide tile shower. And talk about water pressure! Just short of fire hose level. Two elevators in the building but one seemed to be down every other day. Had to wait on several occasions but nothing ridiculous. Small cafe on the main floor. Service was very indifferent. Supposed to be open until 10:30AM but staff always seemed to be in the process of closing it down well before that. Food was pretty good - my wife had the Californian just about every morning and loved it. Located across from Port Authority bus terminal. Very convenient - short walk to Time Square, Hell's Kitchen, subway locations at the end of the street (and Port Authority as well). Overall, very pleasant experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for Times Square and NYC sightseeingPosted Oct 11, 2014
Pros: Everything - seriously!
Cons: Reception is starting to show some wear - but thats being really nit-picky!
Location: The street is located behind the port authority bus terminal and doesn't look much, and the probation office a few doors away was a bit off putting.
Arrived after midnight after a trying journey full of delays and hold ups to be warmly welcomed and checked in quickly by the lovely reception staff. Next morning we were up and away early, greeted on our way out and again as we arrived back (every day actually!). The room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. Big screen TV, free wifi, safe, iron and ironing board, drinks maker and pods, ample wardrobe and drawer space, daily weather forecast and chocs on the bed! Bathroom was well equipped with power shower, hair dryer, vanity light, lovely products and a shaving mirror. Subway was just a couple of blocks away (get a weekly pass if you're planning on covering some miles!) and Times Square about a 5-10 min walk (depending on traffic and crossings!) from here we covered all manhattan, uptown, downtown, east side, west side - all either a walk or train ride away. We spent a fab week here and we were well looked after, we were even able to check in for our return flights and print boarding passes at reception. Wouldn't hesitate to hook here again!
