Just had some issue with keyless entry door. You need to swipe several times so your card can be read.

nice family hotelPosted Apr 21, 2014
I normally stay in Royalton, the W and similar hotels that have a better bar scene in the lobby, so Distrikt is not one of those fancy hotels. But the the price was great and the hotel staff was friendly, and room was clean so cannot complain. Just wish the bathroom had a tub. Overall great hotel for family stays!

Reasonable hotel near Time SquarePosted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: location, and relatively cheaper rate, free wifi, complimentary luggage storage after checkout, didn't ask about storage before checkin
Cons: Pretty old hotel, rooms are small, carpet old, doesn't have the freshness and cleaness of newer hotels.
Location: Very convenient, next to Port Authority on 40th & 8th.
We only stayed for one night, Friday night rate of $300 on Good Friday for a room with King bed, we booked the day before. The hotel has a very smal lobby, typical of NYC. The staff are very helpful. The whole feeling is small, relatively old, but not ancient. It doesn't have the freshness, cleaness (not dirty, just old carpet doesn't give a clean feeling). Otherwise a reasonable experience.

Modern hotel close to Times SquarePosted Apr 20, 2014
Hotel was exactly as described on the website with accurate descriptions and pictures. I would stay in the hotel again but ensure I had a higher floor to escape from the outside noise.

Great hotel, conveniently locatedPosted Apr 20, 2014
Cons: Internet service was sometimes unavailable/not working at night. Breakfast was pricey.
Location: Conveniently right next to Port Authority and Times Square subway stations. 24-hour drug store across the street.
The building was small and cozy, but my room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Nice view from the 23rd floor, and the elevators were fast, so I didn't need to wait around too much. Nice shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Working A/C in the room, which was good, because I needed it to cool down the room, (strangely) even when it was quite cold outside. WiFi was free and worked well, except when it sometimes went down at night. Continental breakfast was available in the first floor restaurant, but not included in the price, and on the expensive side. Complimentary chocolates and brownie in the room were a nice perk for a sweet tooth like me. Price for the room was high, but this is to be expected for nice hotels in this part of the city.

Fantastic location, fantastic staffPosted Apr 19, 2014
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights having never visited New York. We found the hotel to be well kept, organised and friendly. The staff were very knowledgable and accommodating and the our room was cleaned to a high standard every day. A 5 minute walk from Times Square and The bus station, an ideal location for tourists. Bar prices seemed slightly steep but I guess that's NYC for ya!

Nice clean hotel....a VERY short walk from PennPosted Apr 19, 2014
I had to make arrangements for a brief stay in the city. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. :) They suggested places to go, and helped me make arrangements to get there. I would love to stay there again, but I see that the prices went up about $100 a night since I last stayed there, which was a week ago. :(

Family friendly hotel tucked away in mid ManhattenPosted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Only a few rooms on each floor made for quiet nights. Lots of homely, welcoming touches. Friendly staff
Cons: Lovely big walk in shower but would of liked the option of a bath as well.
Location: 5 minutes walk from Times Square, Broadway. Took us 10 minutes to walk slowly back from The Lion King.
Just a few minutes walk from Broadway and Times Square, we had a lovely 5 day stay in this small but very welcoming hotel. Having 28 floors, there are only a few rooms on each floor. As the hotel was off in a side street, we had very little noise from outside and were never disturbed by any in-house noise at night. The rooms were comfortable and clean and not too small - just right for crashing in at night after a long day pounding the sidewalks. Staff were attentive, welcoming and friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. They were great with our kids and the food was lovely. Lots of nice touches like the free hor d'oeuvres between 5-7pm every evening. Nice relaxed atmosphere - would highly recommend to anyone.

AMAZING!Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: The staff were always willing to help, nothing was too much for them. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable and it was in a perfect place :)
Cons: nothing it was good as it is :)
Location: Close to Time Square and not far from many attractions such as Grand central station. Also bus stops near by so you could get to the rest of New York.
The hotel was lovely, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the location on the hotel was perfect and the rooms were lovely too. Everything was just amazing! :) and having free wifi was great as well!
