“Great Hotel room and service close to NYC”

The Hotel room as great, it was a suite and the beds were very comfortable. They had on demand TV, room service, maid service daily the room very clean the bathroom very nice, walking distance to the boad walk that overlooks lower Manhattan. the Path Train is 2 blocks and takes you in NYC. Very friendly and helpful staff would recommend it!

“Good hotel close to New-York City at a reasonable price!”

Close to the path train, this hotel offers a comfortable and clean room at a reasonable price just few minutes from the path train that brings you to downtown New-York City! The hotel service is awesome and if we go back in this area we will certainly consider to go back to this hotel!

“Awesome Service & Location”

This hotel is in the perfect location if in town to visit NYC. It is a couple blocks from the PATH which takes you on a short ride to the city. The staff is very courteous and hooked us up with directions and maps suggesting places to visit. Unfortunately, I picked a weekend to travel to NYC when Hurricane Irene was quickly approaching the east coast. The Front Office Manager helped us with an evacuation plan and refunded our 3 nights of stay that we didn't get to experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back again!

“Nice hotel not great but good stay”

This is an attractive and comfortable hotel. The service has a few rough edges, but is generally friendly. In terms of convenience, the access to the train to NYC is OK but not very close. The views of the lower Manhattan skyline can be very good, and it is a short walk to some nice places on the Waterfront. Food is expensive, and the only real parking option is valet, which provided very good service but was not convenient to make a lot of short trips locally.

“Good stay, valet eager for work”

We had a great stay here. The desk staff was very friendly. The valet was clearly looking for work (tips), so the clear disgust with us self-parking was the only blemish on this pleasant stay.

“Wonderful stay at the Doubletree Hotel, Jersey City.”

The hotel was very comfortable close to New York. The path train was a couple of blocks away and the hotel staff were very friendly. There is a shopping mall close by and nice restaurants to check out. The cost of parking was pricey and breakfast prices at the hotel were outrageous. There are so many other nice restaurants within close proximity to the hotel to check out.
