“Cant wait to go back great hotel”

It has a good location for travelers that are going to Manhattan and the lady in the lobby and she trated us like we were the best guest ever and she was very nice and the rooms were very clean and the room was bog enugh for 4 people ( nice hotel and good for the first time in New York City

“Nice hotel to stay in NJ”

I like to go and stay again, this is very close to lightRail and path station. The hotel is very clean and people at the front desk are very helpfull and responsive. The only negative point what I see is you have to pay for the parking which is 15$ per day.

Good location. Easy access to Manhattan downtown and midtown. Good links to subway for rest of NYC. Good for esploring Newport area of Jersey City. Very clean, safe and friendly. Staff extremely helpful. Also good for links to train to Liberty Park and Liberty Island. Will definitely use again.

“Perfect!”

An absolutely perfect overnight stay in a very spacious suite with 2 very comfortable double beds, a pull out couch, desk, microwave, mini-refrigerator, huge closet, and nice bathroom with a high flow shower head. Paid a very decent rate through expedia. Allowed me to check-in early, about 2 hours early in fact and gave me chocolate chip/walnut cookies. The only draw back, which for me wasn't really all that big a deal, was the $15/night parking. Usually that's free.

“Great Value when visiting NYC”

We recently took our first trip to the Big Apple and after reading others reviews of the Doubletree it sounded like the best option. We were not disappointed at all. The staff was very helpful in giving directions to the PATH station (only a few blocks away), and the train ride into the city was quick and easy. There are numerous restaurants, a grocery store and shopping mall within walking distance and we felt completely safe and comfortable walking around the neighborhood.

My wife and I stayed at Doubletree Inn in Jersey City during a recent weekend trip to New York City. This was the second stay at this hotel for me in several years, and this time around was more positive. The room was spacious as before and in good shape, and the lobby seemed recently renovated (not sure exactly when). The PATH train to New York is a 10 minute walk away, and parking is not as expensive as other hotels in area. Driving into New York is a breeze, as the Holland Tunnel is minutes away. Value for this hotel is good relative to staying Manhatten. Only downside for us was the business center, which was expensive. Didn't try restaurant, but there were other restaurants in walking distance. Overall, we liked the hotel and would stay again.
