Convenient Mid-Town hotel

Pros: Location
Cons: Interior is ok but showing signs of heavy use.
Location: Midtown Manhattan, says it all.
Convenient Hotel, with ok accommodation - rooms ok, but not big - and helpful staff. Room service available, but proximity to many local restaurants makes that less important.

Hotel ok, good location.

Pros: Location. Room clean.
Cons: No fridge in the room so no cold water. No tea/coffee making facilities. Although info said there was fridge at the foyer, there wasn't one.
Location: Location on Lexington Ave close to Grand Central Station and Fifth Ave midtown sites.
Room comfortable except no fridge or coffee/tea facilities. Well serviced.

Wonderful location, service could've been better

The hotel has a wonderful location-- walkable distance to grand central. I like the cookies they serve when checking in. Room is comfortable, good for one person. You might wanna book a bigger one for two people. I asked for a bottle of water at 11:00 pm and the front desk said they don't have enough people to serve at this time at night. I had to go downstairs to the drugstore to buy water. And that's not very nice.

Central location was appealing .

Pros: Bar staff had good service ,concierge was very knowledgable.
Cons: Not paying for WiFi and having room ready when they said they would.
Location: Good central location in Manhatten
Got to the Hotel and rooms weren't ready so had to pay the hotel to hold our bags. Then walked around for a few hours,came back and room was still not ready. They promised us an upgrade for having to wait about 4 hours for the room,when we got to the room there wasn't any upgrade the room was small and bathroom was tiny. Also had to pay extra for Wi- Fi .

We were greeted with a warm cookie to help make our "warm welcome extra special" Need I say more? Aside from the slightly uncomfortable pillows, this experience was one of the best I've ever had in NYC! Great location. Excellent customer service. More than pleasant stay.

Nice hotel, sham it doesn't have free wifi

Cons: Free wifi in the rooms. If you have to put up the room rates do so and then people can make an informed choice rather than be taken by surprise.
It's a good value hotel, well located near main subway stops. I just find it astonishing in this day and age, in a modern hotel in a major international city, not to have free wifi in the hotel rooms.

Nice room at Hotel. The hotel lobby was often very busy and there was not much room for passing others jn the lobby corridor area.

Okay in a pinch

Pros: Location, cleanliness.
Cons: Individual controls for room temperature. Quieter pop music -- or better yet, some quiet space.
Location: Plenty of fast-casual and casual dining, walking distance to Central Park, Grand Central,MOMA and even theater district and Times Square on a good day
We booked this hotel via Expedia two months before we settled in, so our room rate was exceptionally good for midtown. Also on the plus side, the hotel is located close to several fast-casual and casual restaurants; the Lexington Avenue subway entrance is very close; the hotel staff was eager to please (especially Robert, who walked us through a hotel problem tapping into room WiFi); the bed was comfortable enough, and the room offered sufficient closet and drawer space. On the negative side, the view from the window of our low-cost, advanced-booked room was over the HVAC system; the room temperature was set at an uncomfortable 72 degrees throughout (luckily, we could slide the window open a crack to cool things down, but that added noise to the situation), and the lobby, elevators, hotel bar and all corridors incessantly piped in awful pop music.
