Recreation
Central Park, 12 blocks north, offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including ball fields, tennis courts, rowboat rentals, horseback riding, and miles of trails for hiking, biking, running, and in-line skating. Rockefeller Center's famed skating rink, two blocks away, opens in winter, as does Central Park's Wollman Rink.

“Leisure Traveler”
Arrived very early fully expecting to leave our bags but were given an option of two rooms to choose from and were able to check-in. This hotel is ideally located for the theater and the rooms are spacious by NY standards. Great choice when traveling with older children.
“Great overall value for the location”
We enjoyed an overnight during the holidays and found this hotel to be perfectly located within the theatre district/Times Square, to have a friendly staff, and a very clean and spacious room for NYC. The pullout sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable but it was doable for a night or two. The king bed, however, was heavenly! And who doesn't like a warm chocolate chip cookie anytime of the day?!

This hotel was wonderful and in a great location and a very nice Hotel with Great rooms......very large for big city standards. Very clean...newly decorated and we had a wonderful time!
“PAY A LITTLE EXTRA FOR THE BEST HOTEL ON TIME SQUARE!”
This hotel is great. We got in around 5pm, front desk was very helpful. I was very surprise with the size of the room and how clean it was. It was a little pricy, but it was WORTH IT! It was in the heart of time square so everything was walking distance. This is the place to stay if you ever want to pay a little extra but get good service and convenience.
“The place to stay while in Manhattan”
The hotel was right in the midst of Times Square- close to everything, easy but secure access. The room was spotless, service was excellent and the breakfasts were great. I'll be going back to this hotel next time I'm in New York City.
“Great trip!”
The Doubletree was a great place to stay and accommodated us very well. There were 5 of us in a one bedroom suite and had plenty of room. The arrangement of the suite was perfect. We had some neighbors who were loud, and this was taken care of by the hotel after we called the front desk. We were appreciative, and we will definitely stay there again. We also loved the play next door, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

“If you are looking for location, location, location, you just found it!!!”
We loved the Doubletree Guest Suites in Times Square. They give you warm Cookies when you check in, which are soooo good we have ordered them from home. The room was very nice, the bed was soooo comfortable. Bed comfort is my biggest problem with most hotels, the beds at Double tree are 5 star comfort. And they give you lots of pillows. The room has a safe, personal fridge, microwave and mini bar located away from the personal fridge, which is great when you have kid's, so they don't empty the mini bar. The two room suite was very comfortable. The breakfast bar in the Center Stage Restaurant on the 5th floor was very good with a chef that prepares your eggs to order and makes you waffles and pancakes on request. And of course they happen to be right in the middle of times Square with awesome veiws. This is truly the best hotel in the most excitng part of New York City. Very friendly staff, we were extremely happy here.
