Good hotel conveniently located on 34th streetPosted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: The staff we very welcoming and helpful.
Cons: Could do with a few more basic utensils in the kitchen.
Location: The hotel was convenient for the Empire State Building and Macy's Department store.
We stayed at this hotel for four nights in December and found it to be excellent value for money. It is conveniently located on 34th not far from the Empire State Building. The room had its own kitchen facility with fridge/freezer, microwave and full gas cooker. The room was spacious and afforded a good view of the Chrysler building and a telescope was even provided on request. Staff were most helpful and we enjoyed the 5pm complimentary wine reception. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Enjoyable stayPosted Dec 17, 2014
The staff was great! Very friendly and helpful. Room was shabby looking. Hvac unit leaked and floor was soaked. Old wallpaper. Lots of space for NYC hotel. 4 of us stayed and had plenty of room. Located in quiet part of city.

Nice hotel central to everythingPosted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: The hotel was very central, staff were very pleasant. Had a couple of problems with the room but they were fixed promptley
Location: The location was 34th street, which is mid town. It was about a 10 min walk to Times Square and about 15-20 minutes to Central Park.
First time in New York and already planning on going back. We had the best holiday, the hotel was very central so was close to everything approx 10 minute walk to Times Square. People were very friendly and stopping to help us asking if we needed directions etc. Went to Woodbury Common when we were there and would say to everyone to go you will get great bargains.

Great locationPosted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Location, room configuration, views, kitchen
Cons: Hot chocolate sachets in the room
Location: Empire State Building , shopping, walk to Macy's.
We loved our experience, great room with a kitchen let teenagers snack at all hours! Close to everything easy dining nearby, market next door! We saved money with breakfasts and snacks made in our room and could spend more on shopping. Staff were lovely and helpful. We had an awesome view from our room.

Best Manhattan Hotel I've stayed inPosted Dec 14, 2014
From the attentiveness of the staff to the quality of the room, you could not ask for a better apartment block in midtown Manhattan. No better value for money.

REALLY NICE HOTELPosted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: Everything couldn't find any faults.
Cons: Possibly a bar area in the hotel would have been nice.
Location: 15 minute walk to the Empire State Building and 25 minute walk to Macy's.A lovely deli called Guy & Gallard just up the road.
The hotel staff are really helpful and the free wine hour between 5pm & 6pm is a great way to unwind after a hard days shopping and sightseeing. Very comfortable and clean room and a great small kitchen which has everything you will need. Towels and linen changed every 2nd day.We were on the 16th floor and didn't have much of a view so maybe higher the next time.

Excellent stayPosted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: Clean and spacious room
Location: Shopping down 34th St, near NYU hospital
The room had a kitchen, which I wasn't expecting. I didn't get to use it, but it was clean. In fact, the entire room was clean. The bathroom had hot water, the beds had clean sheets, and the furnitures were clean. The room was very spacious. I enjoyed my stay here.

central and wonderful view.Posted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: Location and views were a must
Cons: There was a phone call on our bill which we did not make. It was only $2 but we didn't make that call
Location: There is a deli on the corner, and we used it a lot. We had a kitchen in our suite and it was nice to take breakfast back or have a snack later at nig
This was my second time in this hotel. It was just as nice the second time round, they had decorated and made a few Morden changes. This hotel is only 2 blocks from Empire State, and Macy's is another block on from that. We had a subway at the end of our block, so it was nice to get the train to Statue of Liberty. The staff in this hotel were so helpful and friendly. While we were out there, we had a problem with a bank card, the staff sent emails for us several times and helped us sort it out. The rooms were so comfy and the beds you could get lost in.
