A good place to crashPosted Dec 6, 2014
Cons: Pillows, blankets and lack of a place to put toiletries in the shower.
Location: There is a Starbucks on the corner and a Steakhouse at the hotel.
Hotel was adequate and well located. Pillows were too small and the blankets too thin. the closet was also minuscule. overall, it is a good place to stay.

Nice hotel conveniently located to MidtownPosted Dec 6, 2014
My room was smaller than many chain competitors but large enough. Staff was very friendly and the Benjamin Steakhouse, located on the main floor, is excellent.

Stayed here, then at the Roosevelt Hotel for work.Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: Clean, up to date
Location: Extremely centralized in upper midtown.
This is a very nice hotel, right at Grand Central which is a perfect location. There is no comparison between this hotel and the Roosevelt -this is a significantly nicer hotel! European, and would definitely recommend to others. Rooms aren't super large, but have just what you need.

close to times squarePosted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: close to times square. walking distance.
Cons: Definitely the rooms. paint peeling off the ceilings including the bathroom. plastic base for shower in a supposedly deluxe room.Walls shaking w noise
Rooms need renovation. Meanwhile they where renovating the lobby with lots of noise and drilling tile removal etc. ALL WEEKEND. I could not hear the desk clerk upon checkout.Upholstered chair in room was very dirty. I put a towel to sit on it ! I will not stay there again. It used to be much better before the new ownership. Staff was very friendly and polite.

Didn't stayPosted Oct 17, 2014
When I arrived at the hotel I was told that there's no room for me, even though I have already paid for it in Expedia. They have transferred my stay to their sister hotel in downtown, the Hotel Wallstreet. They claim the hotel is the same although the latter is only a 3 star hotel. When I was about to leave another guest tried to check in, the guest was given a room without any issue. I asked the front desk, the guy says that I wasnt given a room because I reserved it too late.
