Convenient hotel by Central Park, functionalPosted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Location very good, handy for Park and subway
Cons: Breakfast was tired and limited in range, room was stuffy and windowless
Location: Lots to do, opposite Natural History Museum
Aircon too loud, breakfast uninspiring and windowless room, otherwise fine

A cold "hot breakfast"Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Relatively quiet in evening and location for ease of accessing main areas of Manhattan.
Location: Metropolitan Museum of Art
Generally unhappy experience - the loo kept flushing (or you could hear some other loo flushing), it was like having someone else in the bathroom.

Convenient to Central Park and museumsPosted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Situation was the main plus.
Cons: Lack of coffee in the room or in the lobby
Location: Mid- Central Park on the doorstep. 2 museums right next door & others easy to reach. Restaurants & shops around in a quiet way. Good access downtown.
Old fashioned in a comfortable way. Lack of tea/coffee in the room or in the lobby was a negative. Very handy for Central Park and the museums. Enough shops and restaurants around. A quieter part of town but with ease of access downtown.

Great location and large rooms with European feelPosted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: Size of room, location, and quiet ambiance.
Cons: Free wifi only in lobby, safe charges were ridiculous. Carpet needs replacement in room.
Location: Central Park, one block from subway, museum of natural history practically across the street and walking distance to the Metroplitan Museum.
Stayed here with. Friends for a girls trip. Few hotels offer double beds and this was key. The room are very large for NYC standards and its Ina quiet section close to the park and subway. Cleaning staff was superb and front desk female staff was very accommodating. The gentleman at the front desk never smiled and seemed unhappy in his job and was a tad condescending. The bar and restaurant are convenient and our food was very good. (Restaurant is inside hotel but not part of hotel...Calle Ocho.

Bed was too small - smaller than a real double and so not the best night sleep for both of us

the hotel was conveniently located and the room waPosted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: location & nice room
Cons: cable tv did not carry local baseball game
Location: museum of Natural History, restaurants, central park, easy access to East side
I was only there for 1 day but the room was convenient & comfortable for a business meeting/ In addition a family could spend a day across the street at the Natural History Museum and walk across the Park to the Metropolitan Museum or to shopping on Madison Ave. Public transportation is readily available. Parking is a little inconvenient. You either park on the street or at the Museum of Natural History across the street.

Great Location!Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Location and room.
Cons: Free wifi!
Location: Near Central Park.
Nice hotel near Central Park, Natural History Museum, and near subway and several restaurants . The room was lovely. Hotel staff was okay, could have been friendlier. Everything cost extra - wifi, frig, breakfast...

QUIET elegant comfortPosted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: location - convenience to 1 Train
First time here -unfortunately torential rains kept me from wandering in what seemed to be a wonderful section of the city - lots of green area close by - tons of shopping and good eats nearby- Thankfully - the attached restaurant - was DELICIOUS ! Largest suite I have ever had in NY - with ability to control temperature in both rooms - would recommend - want to go back when can walk around more
