Horrible location

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Stayed here on each end of a trip to europe. the hotel itslef is good enough, but the location is an urban wasteland of parking lots, barbed wire, etc.. Both rooms I stayed in were overlooked by parking ( same or lower than ground level), which made me feel uncomfortably exposed. Possibly all the JFK hotels are similarly situated, but I would look around before staying here again.

Thank you for your feedback we truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts. I do apologize that our location did not meet your expectations. The area surrounding JFK Airport is not considered vibrant, so we do offer Complimentary shuttle service to the nearest Subway Station and the nearest shopping center Green Acres. Thank you for being our guest!

Convenient hotel near JFK

Room was clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant was not good, especially the caesar' salad. Free breakfast was average.

Nice hotel close to JFK International airport.

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Pretty much everything, a nice place to stay after a long flight.
Cons: Air conditioning was noisy but show me a New York hotel where the A/C is not noisy. The rooms were clean and well serviced, no issues here.
Location: Wouldn't go out after dark but convenient for JFK
Clean and very convenient for a stop-over from JFK Airport. Staff are obliging and helpful. The courtesy coach was also convenient but the driver was having a bad day, he was very grumpy. The weather didn,t help as we arrived in the middle of a major thunderstorm and lightning was awesome.

Nice hotel, 10 min drive from JFK Airport.

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Location to airpot was close.
Cons: A bar/ late night menue would be a nice addition.
Location: There's not much in the area pertaining to bars/restaurants/pubs, etc.
No shuttle was available from the aitport to the hotel. It cost $70 for a 10 min drive by an independent driver/unmarked taxi. From the hotel to the airport, the next day, a hotel shuttle was provided. No fee for the morning shuttle. A gratuity fee is expected though.

Unexpected layover in NY

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: The restaurant was still open when we arrived at night. The breakfast was good. The staff was quite helpful with directions to the city.
Location: We did not see much near the hotel. We took the shuttle to the airbus station and the airbus to the subway station. Expensive to get to the city!
We booked this hotel at the last minute because of a flight cancellation.

Close to the airport.

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: The size and comfort of the room.
Cons: Not having to take two different lifts to the upper floors.
Location: We chose this hotel because of the closeness to the airport as we had just a few hours between flights.
We had a very short stay but were really pleased with the comfortable room, friendly reception staff and shuttle service to and from the airport and were sorry we didn't stay longer.

Free connection to and from hotel

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: It is almost beside the airport and the transfer is free to and from hotel.
Cons: It is hard to guess that "you will go upstairs, get on the air train through the right position and get off on the federal circle".
Location: Go to subway station via shuttle and go to city
We stayed in hotel instead transferring to city late night. We are happy for our decision.

Adequate for the money

Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: I like the refrigerator, microwave and location. Simple. but adequate breakfast.
If you want a hotel near the airport for one or two nights. This is your basic, clean hotel. Refrigerator and microwave, but nothing fancy. In fact, the room was pretty small. It does have a free shuttle to the airport every 30 minutes and a complimentary breakfast.
